those are two of the most physical CBs in the league and are especially effective in bump coverage...especially since it seems the refs let these two do whatever they want in man coverage.
sorry to say bernard but we are not really gonna miss you. between percy, shank, and syd i think our crew will be fine...and you won't have to worry about getting your panties dirty on the bench.

more man on man coverage opens up the defense for AD to have a big day. I guess the Pack would rather have AD burn them then #4

I agree, with Syd's size and Percy's strength they can break thru any bump coverage and burn them, whereas Berrian has trouble with any bump and run, so if he does not play it will not be as much of a loss. Going to be interesting on how the officials let their two CB's hold. They seem to let a lot go at Lambeau.

Man to man coverage by their CB's opens up the deep throw, but does not open up any additional lanes for AP to run, he'll still get his yards though. If Favre can get decent protection, he'll have some long completions downfield if they decide to play tight man to man coverage

As will the Pack with those 2 pedestrian safeties that the Vikings have. Looks like it good be a high scoring game.

Yes we played more man last week against the mighty Cleveland Browns. I think it was about getting Kampman's hand down and using some 4-3 looks. What you'll see if we do is MN running screens, where they run off the coverage and dump it to Taylor or AP. I generally like press coverage, though Harris was flagged a couple of times last week. I think when you play it every down you get away with more contact. Or if you are the Steelers or the Giants, who both hang all over everybody.

Percy is better than Berrian already, Rice has been dominant. Shianco is still playing well, the weather 47 and sunny, I smell burnt grilled cheese. Just crown us on the way out of lambeau, because the vultures will be circling the packer locker room...waiting.
The packers are who we thought they were, and we're going to bury them.
The streak runs to three, all on aaron cry baby.

The first game had Brett ordering pizza in the pocket, GB sold out to stop Adrian. If they pursue that same avenue, expect more of the same out of Brett, passing more than running. If Minnesota curbs the mistakes, they should win handily, even in gb. The line is gb by 3, just as it was Minnesota by 3 when in the dome. If I were a betting man, i'd plunk down a goodly sum on Minnesota leaving without a moon, and Brett complete.

Interesting 40, because my fear all week is that Favre has played so well the last few weeks that we'll adjust and AP will hang about 200 yards on us. The Pack dilemma is to shorten the game somehow, despite the Vikes run defense. I'd bet on a lot of power running early i--Pack trying to make a statement--f I were MN. That seems like Mac's mentality right now: protect the pass protection by banging up in there and taking a few play-action shots. Given our depleted receiving corps, this seems like the logical game plan. One thing Pack fans haven't discussed is the IR parade of our special teamers. That could easily decide the game...

Rodgers has the ability to light it up, stopping Driver/Jennings was priority #1 last game. I agree that MM will test the run defense early and often, I'm thinking sweeps and an occasional inside run.
MM believes in his team, and knows they are playing with a good measure of confidence right now, so the first couple of series will tell the tale.
If GB wins, Rodgers will finally be able to turn the page, if not.......
The dilemma will continue.

Dilemma or not, what's likely is that win or lose (win: total elation, lose: oh man...) Dallas is gonna beat us again on the hangover the following week! And though the Pack are my #1, whoever plays Dallas is #2 (and yes, I still love #4, lucky bastards). But you know, although this whole Brett Favre thing is charged with emotion, it's one game and I for 1 am damn tired of losing to Dallas. Beating MN would be great for our division hopes, but beating Dallas would be an even bigger monkey off our backs--the team not even Brett Favre could beat. And it would either put us 1/2 game behind MN (win) or a win up in playoff tie-breakers (either way). 16 games...

Dallas is about consistent as the rest of the NFC east. Either Dallas looks like a Superbowl team or a gutter ball. Anyway we play TB next, another door mat. Then Dallas at home and SF at home. This 4 game stretch will be a really good test, I feel very good about going 4-0. We are at full strength, so no excuses(besides Finley).

The Vikes better change up their game plan from last time they played GB because I am sure the Pack won't be making the same mistakes this time around.

Not being flexible with a game plan has always been the achilles heal for the Vikings in past years. They seem to do well early in the season when they surprise teams, but as the season wears on, other teams get onto their game plan and seem to be able to handle them easily.

Be Unpredicatable!!!

If the Pack want to attack the Vikings safeties, Aaron Rodgers has to have time in the pocket for his receivers to get down field. J. Allen will be Rodgers face a lot if Rodgers holds on to the ball too long like last time.

Should have traded Berrian and kept Wade. I am getting tired of Mr. Injured Reserve. Go back to "da Bears".

Ah! Thank you for correcting my oversight! I feel better already. Tampa is almost as bad as Cleveland. Dallas looks like they are beginning to find it to me.

Packers corners are overrated- Woodson is old and Harris gets abused by good recievers. Plaxico destroyed Harris in the NFC championship game.
