Packers want to put heat on Favre

The Green Bay Packers' defensive line sat down this week and watched film of the two losses to the Vikings in 2009. Full Story

One thing the Vikes didn't have to worry about when they played the Packers was them taking cheaps shots on Favre beause they were never able to hit him. The old man kicked their butts twice last year so lets make it four this year. Packers are probably due for a win because of law of averages. How many in a row is that now?

Good thing the packer d line watched film of last years Vikings wins, now they can get prepared for act 2.
With those two humiliating games under their belt, maybe they have learned to be more gracious losers.

My Packers say they want to put pressure on Favre, but doing it is another matter. If we don't get to him the results will be a Viking win. Bert is not playing as good as last season, but with the injuries now and just poor play neither is GB. Having Clay back will help big-time. I think Minnesota has a better offense than GB and will win this game.

Having Mathews back would be huge for the Packers. Pack is angry about last year, Mathews back, crowd helping out the Packers, I think the Pack sneaks out a win.

I thought you were a Bears Fan....The only thing the Packers will "sneak" in is some rot gut booze to guzzle down while they watch Arron get smashed in a different way...Better be more concerned about the Viking - Bears games 14 Nov...20 Dec, Pal..

Block,block,block... the oline is the key to beating gbay.If Farve has time he'll be able to use the vikes weapons.110 vds passing is pathetic, aren't they looking at they footage of the protection or lack of it.P.Manning ,Brady,Rivers have all day to pass and are ripping up the league...Farve has 1-3 seconds to set up.O-LINE needs to step it up!!!

Maybe the Vikings can watch some film of the 3 Pukers losses this year and come up with a formula, eh? Like pressuring Karen with the front 4? The formula for beating Favre is no different than the formula for beating any team - ya pressure the quarterback with the defensive front and, offensively, score points without turning the ball over - I'm sick of hearing about formulas for beating Favre since the Saints playoff game. The 'way to win' is nothing new.

One thing is for certain, the usual suspect packer fans sure have gone into hiding this week.
They fear the worst, and hopefully the Vikings will help them along in that endeavor.

No fear here, 40for60. I expect at least a spirited effort from the Packers. But the pass rush could not get to Chad Henne - what chance does it have versus Favre?

I do watch Matthews on every snap and the guy is a raw difference maker. But he's one man, and he's hamstrung.

For the Packers to win, they have to play much better than they have (read: more than 13 points per game please), and hope that Favre and the Viking offense continues sputtering.

Tall order. Hope it's a good game and a Green Bay win. But I wouldn't bet on it.

Yeah, I agree. I would love to see the Packers win this game but I dont see any way the packers can win. The vikes just seem to have the edge in every aspect of the game. Packers are too injured and unless they get to Favre, we dont stand a chance. I hope I'm wrong! Go PACK.

If Farve puts in a couple of those Kleinsasser "sway not a cut" screen plays the Packers will be so lost that the rushing heat may become 3 down rushing lineman and 8 linebackers in zone defense.

"Have no fear, The Vikings are here"...Back in the old days, when ever the Vikings flounded out of gas, and dropped out of the races, I would root for the Packers to rip up the AFC and anybody else that got in the way...Those were the days when both teams fans did not mash their teeth, poke each other with nasty words that smart just as much as a sharp stick...Or howl at the Full Moon..I hope I don't sound like I am greedy, but I want the Vikings to win, if not for me, then for all the little Vikings, and their mommies and daddies....

I can only imagine AJ will show Brett what a "real johnson" looks like when he gets "sacked" not the micro-johnson BF was able to send Jenn via a cell-phone

Jimmy,
I agree, I think I would be a good addition to the bears o-line. However, don't be delusioned by BF's magic especially with Moss. I don't think he can throw the ball that far anymore. Brady has a great deep ball witch made Moss a legit threat, however after seeing the ducks BF tossed to Harvin deep a couple of weeks ago I think father time may have caught up to him. Run the ball and hope AP doesn't have deja vu with fumblitis. When is the Queens next boat ride scheduled? I'll be there

I am a Bears fan. I just hate the Vikes(and #4). Seeing Im not doing anything Sunday night, I think I'll watch the game and root for the Pack. I have friends that are Pack fans, so Sunday night I will be the "honorary" Packer fan for the night. I will though be wearing my Walter Payton jersey. I thought only Vike fans drank rot gut booze??

What do you have to laugh about, I thought the Vikes O line is bad, man yours is the worst. The Vikes will be fine if the O line steps up including that fat butt McKinnie who get's blown by at least twice a game. That's the problem with the Vikes and if they can get that fixed they're as good as any team in the league.
Every team in the NFC North has a lousy O-Line. If they didnt, we'd all be in the Super Bowl this year, LOL!!

no, the only "sneak" in the mix is that pervert qb of yours .. I wonder how many times Deanna will put up with his "sneaking" before she boots his sorry purple @$$ out the door ... I bet it makes the Vikings center nervious with the ol' pudslingers hands on his b@lls each game ...
