Is It Time for Green Bay Packers' GM Ted Thompson to Go?

Theres been late round success,and first round busts,so your right Jeremy, you never know what you will get.
if Ted hits a homerun with this kid,that would be cool, we could use a good kick returner,Blackmon did a nice job until he got hurt.

I don't really think Jeremy is a PACKER fan. He sounds like a Viking fan. They get awfully excited about failure too. I know he is a Ted Thompson lover. Good for him. He has every right to root for Ted Thompson and his failure. I'll continue to encourage success and excellence for the PACKERS. You must love Ted too. Why else are you trolling on the Packer forums instead of the Bear forums? I notice that there are many of our division opponents that love Ted. The Viking fans in particular love Ted. That's because Ted has allowed the Vikings to assume dominance in the division after years of Packer control.
I assume you love Ted because the Packers regularly whooped on the Bears until Ted became the GM. On the other hand, perhaps you love Ted because Bear management is even worse. I sincerely hope the Bears hire Ted after the Packers fire him. That would kill two birds with one stone.

Hello, Mr Obvious, 1/3 of the teams make the playoffs, DUH Who picked McCarthey and then hired Capers? Who put an end to the Brent saga? Actually, I think he's on the right track with this team(bad news for us Bear fans) Mc Carthey is good coach, he got the o-line problems worked out on the fly, and settled down Rodgers, what else do you want GBPfan?? Replacing TT now would be real stupid.

Instead of jumping on TT for signing a big kid like this with some upside,Let the kid play and see if he can contribute,then we can judge if its right or if it were a wrong move.
If the kid proves to be a good or better then good special teams player,then he contributed and is an asset to the team,wouldnt you agree?

Believe it or not, I always hope every pick, every player signed and every decision that TT makes will work out well for the Packers. Unfortunately, the totality of his decisions has equated to 43 wins and 40 losses in the last 5 years. I'm living proof that all the wishing in the world won't turn TT into a good GM. I'll wait to see about this kid and wish him well too. I see the potential to help on special teams. I can't imagine that he will make the team if he has to do it as a safety. I'm not saying he can't become a good safety in time, but he needs to make the team before that will happen. That's just the reality of the situation.
