What's wrong with the Texans?

What's wrong with the Texans??? How about every time they get within ten yards of the endzone they run stupid ass plays. Run a boot-leg, a sweep, mis-dircetion, f***ing run something besides a slow over-wieght tailback up the middle for no gain. For the love of God can nobody see this but me.

as a texan fan its hard still rooting for them and they have a lot of things wrong but a bright spot in the team is steve slaton. in a few years the texans should be a contender.

With all due respect to everyone who has opinions about play-calling etc. I think .. correction .. I know exactly what is wrong with the Texans this year. It's almost exclusively a quarterback issue. I am not referring to Matt or Sage individually, I am not even claiming that they both aren't potentially great quarterbacks. What I do know is that as of today, the Texans lead the league in turnovers from the quarterback position with 14 interceptions (highest in the NFL) and 4 QB fumbles (out of only 7 total). That's almost 2 turnovers a game from the QB!! As you can see, the rest of the team only fumbled a collective 3 times!

I grant you that Kubiak's play calling at the goal line (I assume it's him) is perplexing at best, but if the QB position committed even just half of the turnovers that it does, we would be looking at an over .500 season going into week 11.

Oh yeah, and Owen Daniels could go to the Pro Bowl, which is exciting, considering he only makes $370,000.00 per year, effectively making him the lowest paid starter on the team (maybe even the NFL). I bet Owen can't wait to renegotiate his contract in 2012. OUCH. A four-year contract. Owen needs a new agent.
