Lets see AZ has Fitzgerald and the Eagles have a bunch of no names. The kid went to Pitt, yet Ried let another great receiver slip away, for the likes of a slalom skier or a also ran like T O.

Once again the elite sports writers for the mcall were WAY OFF. Who are the MAROONS now?? Thank God the eagles flags, hats, shirts, and license plates are gone now and we can sing the CRY-eagles-CRY fight song again!!

Does anybody want to talk about that defense last night or are you Eagle fans going to continue to bash Donavan, the best quarterback ever in eagle history, or Andy Reid, arguably the best coach in Eagle history? In a blink of an eye Donavan was put in an 18 point hole because of that defense. The defense got you in that game but there isn’t another quarterback you guys would have a chance with that is available.

(NOT an eagle fan)
I thought the Phillie secondary was going to pick Warner, but it turned out the opposite. The Cards picked McNab instead. The Eagles defense kept rushing KW and he never cracked. I mean, how would you expect a Super Bowl MVP to respond to the rush?
McNabb did fold again with another intentional grounding like against the Giants in the end zone last week, but that's small potatoes. McNabb should be happy, and i think he is, because maybe now he can leave Phillie.
Defensively I just don't know why the Eagles kept rushing him. Samuel couldnt make tackles and Dawkins only made two plays the whole game.

Steelers by 3 touchdowns. I went to a Sporting Goods Store for Steelers clothing on Saturday. The store didn't have one Steelers item. They had a whole isle full of Eagles Jerseys. We seem to forget we have two teams in PA. I guess you may be able to get a good deal on Eagles stuff at Dicks now.

Or the 12 - 4 Three Time Super Bowl Champs The New York Football Giants. They did win, what was said to be the toughest division in football. Decidedly I might add. My how easy we forget. The Giants are greatness; they are measured against the dynasties of yesteryear, Dallas, 49ers, New England. The Eagles will be remembered much like the Vikes or the Bills. they got there but didn't have enough to finish.

Once again Mcnabb chokes. He is a good QB but in the big games, if you need a late drive for a TD he chokes. The 3rd down pass was the killer.

McNabb was inaccurate the entire game. How many balls did receivers have to dig out of the dirt, and you don't run to far after a catch if the bozo throwing the ball is unable to hit a receiver in stride. Everyone wants to put the guy into the hall of fame? He can't win a big game if his life depended on it. Yesterday was his big chance to secure his legacy...and once again he blew it.

Im not surprised this happened and was very cautious prior to the game. I thought people were too overconfident. My tenuousness was correct.

While his stats can be compared to the best in the sport, when the game is on the line, his leadership and ability to mount a comeback is pretty horrid. The catch 22 is that he's the best option they have. Kolb is not the future of this franchise and if they do rid of McNabb, you're looking at at least 1-2 losing seasons.

The gamblers set this up like every Eagle season. 5 wins back to back odds go up then they bet on the other team. Big killing. It's all about the money.
This is every year lose so many, then they win a couple odds go up then they lose. disgusting.

Come on people if that game doesn't open up eyes to corruption in pro sports I don't know what will. Everything with a betting line and tons of money is fixed. Look at the game. WWE or F for us old folks couldn't have done better.

Isn't it the truth? Pretty much you never know which Eagles team is going to show up -- heroes or dogs. I've been following football only for 4 or 5 years or so, but it just seems they just do enough to get your hopes up, then crash and burn. No consistency whatsoever.

HAHAHAHA........... the Eagles showed who they really are on Sunday. They had their hats handed to them as they were soundly kicked in the rump, proving them to be the losers we all know them to be.

The Eagles need to ADMIT they need a big name receiver. They had T.O. for 1 year and were basically unstopable. Go back to this, but get a team player/non-distraction guy.

I will admit the Philly receivers impressed me and ran circles around the Cardinal defense all day. However when you factor in drops and McNabb throwing behind everyone all day it really didn't matter.

The difference was the Cards had Boldin (non-factor this game) and Fitz who can make Warner look better than he is. Warners passes were nothing special, but his receiver made plays for him.

how stupid is Reid not to go for 2pt conversion down 24-12, and again 24-19...do the math, each time. Poorly played game overall and Akers, normally consistent, was consistently bad...the kickoff out of bounds starting the Cards at the 40 and the 15 yd unsportsmanlike penalty when Warner was wacked after the play both hurt in scoring drives...oh, well, when do the Phillies report to camp?

and Donovan McNabb is a poor passer, especially short passes that are thrown behind the receiver...he should eat more chunky soup at his mom's house and the Eagles need a sprint out quarterback and an impact wide receiver.
