Goliath burns David

Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts offense were fashionably late to the party Thursday night at the RCA Dome. Read more

The thing I was most happy about (beside the win) was that Kenton Keith was carrying the ball during garbage time instead of Addai. The mistake the Colts made during the Egerrin James era was that James never came out of games even after games were decided. Consequently James had horrible playoff games because he was worn out. It was also nice to see that Keith averaged over 6 yards a carry while Rhodes only averaged 3.2 yards a carry last year during the regular season.

Nice photos from the playboy party. Has there ever been a playboy party in Indy before? Let me know when the next one is.

I wonder if all the talking heads will backpedal now with their comments that the colts defense is in trouble and that Ugoh can't replace Glenn. I hope not because I think it adds fuel to the Colts' fire. I smell a repeat...and yes all you pessimists I realize it is only one game, so don't bother saying it.

Wham Bam the Colts done did it again. Do I smell another S.B. around the corner? Go Colts Go Way to kick butt again. They are just never going to learn. The Colts is the Team. And to think. This was just a small warm up for them. Look out in the rest of the season. The big White and Blue are coming for you.

Everyone want to know the scary part here. They were in midseason form and it was only the first game. They are going to improve so much in the next few weeks. Unstoppable.

I watched the Super Bowl from São Paulo and this one was just as sweet from 5,000 miles away. Way to go Colts.

Butchering the English language seems to work well for "W". Didn't bring him down!

I was impressed with Kenton Keith and the whole beloved Colts team. Tony Dungy wouldn't want us to start talking Super Bowl quite yet. He'd say lets take it one game at a time, but that was a masterpiece I saw in the second half and I believe an end of the season trip to Arizona in the making! And boy-oh-boy do I feel sorry for Jason David. How many Colts still have his cell number and called him after the game last night?

WOW--what a second half! "Saint" Drew looked shell-shocked and Deuce and Reggie were not factors! Thanks for helping the BEARS too by thrashing the team that hopes to beat the BEARS in December.
Blessings...What a first-rate pre-game party downtown--1st class.

Do you live under a rock? Hinder has been around for several years, and they have had a few BIG hits. They're not goth--they are punk. Get it right ^.^

We now see why Jason David was allowed to go elsewhere. "Toast" was his usual self...one good play among several bad ones. Even when we were down 10-7 in the second quarter, I knew we weren't out of it...we had "Toast" playing for the other side.

Props for the Saints. They have a good team, and we'll likely see them again in the postseason.

I will trade 3 touchdowns for one every time, good riddance for David

Random thoughts:

Statistically, the Saints had the #1 offense in the league last year - they lost no one to free agency, and the Colts' defense held them to 3 points! Awesome.

Nice to see Al and John saying that the defensive players we have now are better than the ones we lost. This is something that's been mentioned on the Colts board for some time, but the national media has been blabbering on about how this defense will be worse off without June, David, Doss, etc.

In my fantasy league, Brees, Bush, and Deuce scored under 4 points combined.

Antoine Bethea is the new Bob Sanders.

Perhaps you'd like to hear more about Michael Vick? Or, perhaps more about Tom Brady knocking up another supermodel?

What a great way to start the season. I see a 19-0 record, and a 2008 SB Championship. The defense only gave up 3 points. I wish to nominate a trio for D players of the game: Freddy K, Bob Sanders, and Marlin Jackson. I can not wait to see the Patriots fail. The Patriots WILL NOT even make the playoffs. This revamped defense will finish in the top 2 of fewest points allowed. The Colts will beat the Patriots 45-3

who cares? he still donated god-knows-how-much-money to the childrens hospital! as far as i'm concerned, getting publicity for it makes it NO less of a generous act!
