Dude check your shorts.
The Chargers have owned the colts recently.
Regardless of the point differential,a win is a win.
Merriman scares Peyton.
Watchout for Igor Olshansky as well.
Go Bolts!!!!!!!
I'm sorry, but have you heard of any of our MANY weapons??? Clark, Harrison, Wayne....the list goes on and on. Normally I'm not one for coming on here to 'prove a point', but COME ON!! Who in the heck is Igor?????

I think the colts are in for a major surprise. The chargers are a much better team than when they played last time. The titans D is much better than the colts without Freeney.LT will be running wild on them .Sanders will not be able to run protect and cover the Chargers huge recievers.Should be one helluva game tho.
The Colts are also a much better team that San Diego played last time. We will have Clark, Harrison, Ugoh, and Diem, and Gonzo back. You talk about the Titans defense being way better than ours. We just about beat them with our second and third string. I am not going to say the Colts are going to win but I think they are a very good football team and will be hard to beat.

Chargers can win if they line up L.T. and Michael Turner in same backfield and then Run L.t. out wide in motion taking Bob Sanders out with him then run Turner down the throat of that defense where they are most vulnerable and or thorw to L.T. down the middle back and forth. Defensively if Cottrell allows pressure the whole game rather than using coverage defense after getting a two point lead like he did last time allowing Manning the time to lead a comeback. If we use stanadard offense we will lose.

Oh man we are toast. it is gonna be a rout. Manning is gonna throw 6 touch downs on his first offensive series. This game is gonna be over by the end of the first quarter. The Chargers should not even show up because they will be embarassed on national TV. They don't have a prayer. i wonder how the Chargers are even an NFl team seeing as they have no talent whatsoever. Atleast we won one playoff game.

I see a contradiction in this post.

Chargers have owned the Colts...but then giving a excuse for the point differential being under 3.

Think about it. Why would you have to make up an excuse as to why the point differential was so low, and yet say the Chargers have owned the Colts. It doesn't make sense.

Nobody owned the Colts this year. The Colts lost 3 games this year by an average of 4 points.(Titans by 6, Chargers by 2, Pats by 4) Taking away the gimme game at the end of the season, the average lost was 3.

Losing 3 games by an average of 4 points, or losing with a decimated team by 2 points cannot be considered being owned.

And the Colts could not beat the Chargers minus Lt/Rivers/Gates??? If they can't beat the subs, that qualifies as owned

Let's try to keep things in perspective.

The Chargers are one of the most talented teams in the NFL. While Volek may not be Brady, he is a very good backup, and, probably, should be a starter. He was the starting QB for the Titans before they drafted Vince Young.

If Volek had played the entire game the Chargers would probably have scored about the same number of points. As it turned out, Volek and company only scored 1 TD, so the Colts' defense didn't play nearly as badly as the press is making it sound. The Colts held the ball longer, had more total yards, and held LT to 48 total yards.

All 3 of the SD players you mentioned play offense, not defense. The SD defense is what gave the Colts fits.

The last two series for the Colts should have resulted in points, but because of Manning's unwillingness to personally run the ball, and bad coaching decisions (not kicking a field goal on the 6), none were scored.

The Colts' offense is one of the most talented in the NFL. However, it is continually hindered by bad play calling, and lack of inspiration in the available plays. The Colts, and Manning, are one decent OC from another SB. Let's hope the new coach does something about this.

Thank you!!! I didn't want to waste my breath by telling a guy that beating a team by a combined score of lest that 12 points over a period of 3 games in 3 years does not count as owned.

I know what you mean. The Colts have their detracters from all over the league, and this year's early exit didn't help any.

I truly believe that Manning needs help with designing plays to take full advantage of all of the offensive weapons the Colts possess. Moore may have been a good OC at one time, but he has fallen behind the newer defenses and seems lost.

There is far too much talent there to lose games in the manner that occurred in the SD game. It's time for a change.

Agreed again. Great minds think alike.
