I have been a colts fan since Mike Pagel and Gary Hogaboom, Jack Trudea as well. This city is embracing now, but will turn on them like they did the Pacers.
I've been a Colt's fan ever since I greeted them on the floor of the Hoosier Dome that cold winter day. How can you compare the Colts to the Pacers? People didn't turn on the Pacers because they lost. They turned on them because of their acitons off the floor. Many of the players are thugs. The Pacers should take lessons from the Colts players on behavior and and see that it isn't about them it's about the TEAM. GO COLTS!

They Better Be READY for the Titans at Tennesee & the fans turning on them after they lose that game. Colts fans are so fair weathered it disgusts me. You guys love them now, but will turn on them when things get tough.
Are you sure you don't mean Philly, New York,Baltimore?

Earlier posts, that have since been removed, made reference to Coach Dungy's son. They were totally inappropriate, evil, mean-spirited and without class. They were not "all in fun", nor "light hearted kidding".

It's not a matter of Bible thumping. It's about treating people with respect and dignity. Something, based upon your comments, that I do not believe you would ever understand.

Thankfully the following post was already removed. It was not in fun. It was not light hearted. It was a nasty comment regarding Coach Dungy's son.

Chill Out, you didn't see the most offensive post because the Star staff removed it. It was posted soon after this article first appeared. The offensive post referred to Tony's son that passed away. It was classless and the Star staff removed it.
I posted a comment earlier about the need for two sites: one for jerks and one for the rest of us (I am a part time jerk, as opposed to full time Jerks - Bears Fan and others). I know that two sites are never going to happen, but I like to dream.

Green Bay will be decent this year, The fact you get so upset about being called fair weathered speaks volumes about you. I remember Albert Bentley, Bill Brooks, Pat Beach, and Kevin Call. I am one of the best Colts fan that post on this message board
The fact that you live in GB country and, yet, have chosen to abandon them speaks volumes about you. It doesn't matter how good or bad you think GB will be this year. You don't even root for the home team in the state where you live.

Now you want to start talking trash about who supports what team. I really don't care if you can name some Colts players from past seasons. What does that have to do with being a Colts' fan? Anybody can google some names. How long have you had Colts season tickets? How many times have you had to defend our Colts when they were a one-win team? When they were being pounded by NE?

I take issue with anyone who slams the Colts (or their fans) based on conjecture. Prove to me that the city or the vast majority of the fans abandoned the Colts (like you did GB) when they were going thru that bad stretch of games last year when the defense didn't show up.

I'll grant you the fans were upset with the team, but almost everyone was waiting for the Colts to come out of their funk and regain the form they displayed in the first half of the season when they were 9-0.

You've been listening to the talking heads on ESPN and FOX too much. They're the ones who abandoned the Colts and wrote them off. Not the city of Indianapolis.

Perhaps that's how YOU are with your team. I've been a fan -through it all- since Harbaugh was wearing number 12.
How about Pagel and Art Schlister?
