The G-men have absolutely no chance in this one. The patriots are just plain great. The best team ever. Screw 'since the salary cap era' The athletes now would dominate the athletes back then. I'm sure they were just as tough, if not tougher back then. But they couldn't physically hang. - But yeah, the Pats are going to go 19 and 0. I agree with Mr. Kravitz here for sure.

If you look at the Pats roster there are quite of few people looking at retirement. I am willing to bet that if they win those people will retire just so that they can leave on the ultimate high note. If this happens than say goodbye to the perfect team.

I tend to agree with Larry. Having said that, the Patriots will merely retool and start again next year. It's really all about winning the Super Bowl no matter what the team record is.

Krav-atz has been in "his" element all week...three articles describing the ultimate greatness of the New England Patriots, including one on Randy Moss, one on the Pats being better than the 72' Fish, and now the article today. Just too bad there aren't any openings for lousy columnists in New England, where you'd be right at home, with people of your kind of character!
As for the game, well you are right...Pats 37, Giants 13. Giants will barely show-up. It will be another AFC blow-out!

What is going on here? Is this Love Bob Day!. Bob you've been soaking up the sun in Arizona writing us pro Patriot articles all week, even one said the Patriots applied for a copyright on "19-0". Come on and dust off the "Giant-Beat down" article with the spin of Parcells being in Miami and the perfect season still being 16-0 and ...
Please write Bob because it's cold back here (54-10 degrees in 1 hour) and I'm thinking about canceling the Party!
On second thought - Go Giants!

If they played this game ten times, Pats would probably win 8 of them.

But I think the final game of the season gave Giants confidence they can beat NE, and they will today. Pats are the overconfident ones today.

This is the AFC we are talking about here. Indy would destroy the Giants (Peyton throews for 450 yds); Chargers would be favored by four. Jax would run all day on the G-men. What would a Giants Titans line be? Titans by 3?

Eli is already dehydrated from all the wretching he did last nite from nerves.

Pats will dismantle this Giants team in perfect weather. AFC has RULED. AFC will RULE. NFC has a long way to go to be competitive. The team of the future is Jax.

Those were the two biggest upsets in S B history? Kravits can't think of any others that rank in that category? How about the Raiders' victory over the Redskins in Jan. 1984? Remember Bob, the Skins were huge favorites and they got clobbered. That was a pretty big upset too, right?

Larry from Indy - I agree with you. Seau and Bruschi and Harrison at least.

If they do it today can they do it again next season, as in perfect? No way, but they will be one of the biggest contenders. They have a habit of addressing their needs in the offseason. Linebackers will be their biggest problem, but they have three youngsters and will have Vrabel Colvin and Thomas back, not to mention free agents - experienced players WANT to play for them because they want to WIN before they retire.

[Why Senator Specter sets stupid standards so stratospherically skyrocketingly high is beyond me.]

The Giants have been whistling past the graveyard. They are in way over their heads and they know it.

I think that this evening we will see the pro football equivalent of Secretariat's 1973 Belmont stakes, IOW one of the greatest performances in the history of the sport.

I could be wrong.

There is only one other team in the NFL that can come close to matching the Patriots for sustained excellence every year and that is why every year when the Patriots and that other team play it is a BIG deal.

And you fans know who I am talking about.

The Pats will probably win. Big deal, so they will be 19-0 cheating losers. I am not going to celebrate or be impressed by a team that wins at all costs and puts class aside. I think our nations children should be shielded from this notion of the "win-at-all-cost" attitute. We, as a society, are throwing people (Marion Jones) in jail for cheating in sports and lying about it, but with the "Cheatriots" it's all OK. Just wait until Congress investigates the NFL and the destroying of these tapes. Don't think it won't happen. Sen. Spector is already asking Comissioner Roger questions and has stated that he is not satisfied with the answers. There is also a guy down in Hawaii that used to film for the Patriots begging to come out and expose all this. I won't even be watching the Super Bowl tonight, not because I am jealous (I would give up on the NFL if I WAS a Pats fan) but because I do not want to be sickened by the Cheatriot love-fest I am sure the Super Bowl will be.
