Running with two backs makes total sense, and I'm glad the coaches realize this. Joe and Kenton fresh is a more formidable problem for defenses than just running one back. Common Sense prevails once again! Pity on the KK Haters, though...

I like the colts philosiphy,of getting there backups lots of playing time. In this way they know they are not going to have a hugh drop off in preformence if a starter goes down. They should use that at every position not just running back.

I'm all for platooning those two guys. That strategy worked to perfection in the playoffs last year. Having two guys with fresh legs really helped to wear down the opposition.

I think one of the problems the Colts had in 2003, 2004, and 2005, was that Edgerin James carried too much of the load and wasn't strong when the playoffs arrived. Seemed like he was a non-factor in each of the playoff losses the Colts suffered.
