Doesn't take a hawk eye to see how mashed up offensive line is

Full story: Baltimore Sun

Every week, it seems to wheel in new bodies and dump old ones. The only problem is that it's the same bodies being recycled over and over again.

You can always see the outline of Flacco's helmet pad on his forehead. I heard the same comment on 105.7 today. Are you guys paying attention? He just wears his helmet tight.

You Sun guys need to get your stories straight. Jamison Hensley has an article saying the Ravens will have no problem with the Jaguars (which he says will be their easiest game) and that it's time to start talking about Baltimore as a superbowl contender. In your article you seem to suggest that Jacksonville's fast defense will give the Ravens trouble, and that the O line may be running on fumes. One of you guys is going to have egg on their face.

Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.

Regardless of how the Ravens finish this season, there's one thing that is for certain: we have the worst sports writers in the civilized world. Bar none. Keep up the "good work", Mikey.

I for one want to congratulate the O line for their play this year, and I have full confidence in them performing well going forward. Who isn't beat up this time of year? Cam is smart, he'll rotate them to try and keep them fresh if at all possible. If not, that's why they get paid the big bucks to suck it up. Gaither, Anderson and Terry are tough and have been playing hurt all year basically. I think they have played outstanding. And no Mike, they don;t need you.

Yes, they have problems but they go in hurt at times and play. That's why they call it a TEAM sport. I think the vets and coaches have done a great job having them understand when you play together, you win together. It doesn't give the writters the negative locker room stuff to write about like last year, maybe that's why we see poor quality in topics the past few weeks. What ever the final record, it has been a surprising and good year.

Matsco deserves some credit for how well the line has played this year. We have had talent on the O line for the past few years put they never could pass block until this year when Matsco arrived. Can't wait to see these guys next year when they have a full year experience under his tuteluge and we don't have so many injuries.

Injuries are normal. The guys have even played pretty well while hurt. They go until they can't go any longer and that's all we can ask. We've had a great year considering what everyone predicted for us. We already have the most guys on injured reserve in the league and we're still hanging in there. Whatever happens happens but we have just as good a shot as anyone right now. What more can we ask for.

Great comentary as usual Mike, but I disagree that the square red mark on Flacco's forehead was from a hit. I've seen him with that mark in many games and think it's just a tight pad or skin reaction to the pad. But surely not from a hit to the head.

I had no idea our O-line was so beat up. Well, this is a bad time of year for that to happen. Still been a good year.

Jeeze can't we just enjoy this season without gloom and dooming it before it is over?

The Ravens only have 5 more games left and they are still fighting through it without a bye week. Can you believe that? It's pretty amazing, and they will get all the respect they deserve if they go to the post-season since they have been going through a few obstacles like playing 3 straight road games and having 16 players on IR.

Harbaugh's first season as head coach of the Baltimre Ravens is already a complete suscess. He has brought good hard-nosed, tough, intergerity laced football back to Baltimore. Not since the Baltimore Colts have I felt the passion. Yeah we've had more than our share of problems this year, but they keep there mouth's shut and showed up and played. Like good ole Johnny U. used to say "talk is cheap". 7 and 4 probably 8 and 4 how about that! The Ravens are fighting for a play-off spot and of course we are all rooting for that. But really a play-off spot is just gravey added to a already very productive and fan pleasing season. Hur Ruh! GO RAVENS.

Preston you are an idoit why do you have to bring it up that Flacco has struggled in the past two weeks. The struggling was not only his fault it was the whole offensive lines collapsing.

You really need to get a life and get over the fact that Troy Smith is not in competition for quarter back anymore. You can write all the baised articles you want. Fans and National Media knows who is playing at what level.

By writing these kind of articles where you put in a paragraph or two to put down Flacco's performance you make a fool out of yourself. You come out as an ignorant person,
