Michael Vick deserves shot to play again in the NFL after the dust settles

There's no guarantee NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will reinstate Michael Vick quickly after the Atlanta Falcons quarterback finishes serving out his sentence in July for a dogfighting conspiracy.

Of course Michael Vick deserves another chance to play in the NFL. He's already unfairly been blamed for more than he actually did. Last time I checked, this is only the 1st time he's been found guilty of actually doing something he was accused of. So, it's only right that he returns.

I think he should suffer the exact same fate as his buddies.

Peace, Taylor, and Phillips for the most part were repeat offenders so they will be able to resume what they were doing before. Vick is not getting better treatment than them. The difference is Vick has an ability and skill set that will allow him to make that type of money where as Peace, Taylor, and Phillips do not. If Vick plays and makes money it will be because he worked hard and performed. Anyone here has the same opportunity as Vick but just may be lacking in the talent and ability area.

So is that the real problem that he may make millions. I don't know much about football but I didn't realize that it was a priviledge I always that it was a job.

Vick was the leader of this pack. That's why he gets the most punishment. That and the fact that the others "spilled the beans" before he did. They tried to cover for Vick and Vick lied his ass off but in the end, they sold Vick out to get a reduced sentence for themselves. Historically, the law will go after the big guys of a crime ring while courting the lesser ones to tattle. That's just the way the law operates and that's what they did this time. Too bad for Vick. But he should have known better and stuck with being a highly paid athlete. I guess he was just too much of a thug to do that.
