It is ridiculous to think an 11-5 team could not make the playoff but the Dolphins missed out with a 10-6 record a few years ago. This scenario probably would not happen under the old NFL structure with 3 divisions in each conference. Maybe they should go with 2 divisions in each conference with 4 wild cards? The division champions get byes and the rest play with home field advantage dictated by records.

The Cheatriots should be thankful they are still allowed to play in the NFL. It takes Belicheat and Kraft blowing the Commish to be able to continue despite their cheating ways. Maybe their plane will go down and all will be right with the world.

You clowns should follow another sport, because you obviously no nothing about football.

Either way though, the best teams will win enough to make the playoffs, but i like what your getting at...

The Pats are cheaters in my book. They are tainted by not being forthcoming about the extent of their cheating. The NFL is complicit as well. They don't want their dirty laundry aired any longer than necessary so they set the (high) fines and clammed up.

11-5 and missing the playoffs may seem unfair if it were to happen to say for instance the Jets, Steelers, or Dolphins but I think it's poetic justice if it were to happen to New England. That team is run by a bunch of snobby, greedy, cheating low-lifes. After reading this, I hope to God that the Ravens win their remaining two games ( they should) and that both the Jets and Dolphins win their games next week so the division title comes down to the Dolphins-Jets game on 12/28 - winner take all. Even if the Jets were to lose, I could smile with satisfaction that NE misses at 11-5.....(lift of the champaign glass)

The Patsies are done. What comes around goes around. Belecheat will be pissed, but I love to see him like that, and Kraft can kiss my Dolphin lovin ass.

sean wrote: The Patsies totally Rock... ...I agree there's absolutely no question how devastating the Patriots still are...even without Brady. It's amazing how their new backup QB just steps in and becomes the best QB in the NFL...crazy. Obviously there's no question that he Pats will be the AFC champs again because there's no logical way that lesser teams like the jets or dollfins possibly win out in their final two games...it's just way too much pressure for these "junior-type" teams.

How's this scenario, the Phins lose to K.C. and the Jets lose to seattle. The Pats win their next two games and take the AFC East. Because that's what really going to happen you smelly fish!!!!!
