Jets never recover from wild first quarter

The first quarter yesterday at Giants Stadium was a wet track meet, with 24 total points by the Jets and Broncos.

If that is the rule than the guys who wrote it are a bunch of morons. You can review possession on a pass play and you can review if a guy fumbles before or after he is down but, not any subsequent possession after that. Idiots. What happen to "the ground can't cause a fumble." As soon as he is touched the play is dead.

As a fan for over 40 yrs, I could tell when they don't show u. When they went 3 and Out and showed no fire on first possession I knew. The only time they were Even (not ahead) in this game was before kickoff. The Jets took a 2nd bye week. Too bad Denver showed up. They cared less than the fans. Aside from that, this team should run first, mix in short passes, then strike long when defense cheats. Stucky & Clowny should be deep threats. Coles & Cotch mid-range, Keller and Leon wild cards. Players & coaches better start acting like pros and get serious or they won't even make the playoffs. It's not easy being a green fan. Signed, Desperate.
