Just think how dominant this defense would be minus the stupid penalties they have been earning lately.

Did you know the NFL colluded to throw Super Bowl XL to the Steelers? It is all going to come out very soon. Rooney was involved, Las Vegas was involved, and Tagliabue was involved (that's a big reason why he retired). This is going to be the biggest story since Pete Rose, and before that the Black Sox, when it hits the airwaves.

LMAO...what about the Superbowl we threw to Dallas? O'Donnell throwing the ball to 'em when there wasn't a Steeler around?? Oh well. I think you're a little wrong about the Superbowl being "given" to the Steelers, but it's cool. i have heard that a lot LOL.

LOL - I agree. As long as the Steelers beat the Browns and Dallas every season then I'm happy.

Don't worry dude - just called 911whocares? and the waaaahmbulance is on its way.

By the way, the Seahawks did themselves in more than the refs. The game was not rigged, the officials did not cheat (bad calls do not equal cheating) and the Steelers deserved to win.

The Seahawks lost the game in the first half when they made it inside Pittsburgh territory four times but came away with only a field goal. Seattle's defense gave up a 37-yard play on third-and-28 that set up Pittsburgh's first score.

Seattle's clock management was appalling, especially at the end of the first half. The Seahawks got to the Steeler 36 with 54 seconds left, but were only able to gain four yards and run off three plays in 47 seconds on a drive that wound up with a missed long field goal.

Steelers, then and now, have a lot to thank their defense for....

Let me guess, Buffalo gave away four straight superbowls too?

Impressive display of historical stats combined with good reasoning. Always nice to see.

Don't believe me, that's ok.

As Hanz and Franz used to say:

"Believe me now or believe later!"

Let's just put it this way, if I was Rooney I would be crapping in my pants right about now. He knows it's coming.

I thought the thread was about the bone crackin', teeth rattlin' and DID hits that the Steelers "D" hands out on a weekly basis -(For the un-informed, DID is d-i-c-k in the dirt)- Not too many teams playing Dick Butkus "D" these days especially in the NFC -(Butkus once said he wanted to hit a quarterback so hard that his head would pop off - seriously warped!!)- GO STEELERS!!

I guess the Broncos threw the Superbowl to the Washington Redskins, the NFL just felt that Timmy Smith was due for a big game.

No, it's more like the Seahawks choked in every key situation in that game. Get over it.
