In the very beginning i thought they should put Wilkinson back in for Mitchell but, after he stuff Barber I change my mine and thought he should take Pierce's place. Especially in the end he was still fresh. He showed great speed on blitzes and better coverage skills in the last couple of games. He stopped 2 TDs to Moss when we played NE but got a bad call on the second pass. He could have stayed with Witten all day. The secondary played great even with backups but, if it wasn't for the cowboys drops and shooting themselves in the foot with penalties we might have been in trouble. The defense must play hard for both half's against GB. Don't talk about the super bowl yet , one game at a time. I also don't like the corner biltzes , it takes too long for them to get there. If they are going to they must break faster and the safeties must get up quicker to cover the open man. Go Big Blue

Great win by the Gmen! But 9:27 says it all. How disrespectful of themselves, of all the hard work, to go into the prevent offense R-R-R-K with 9:27 left! How do you justify that? Beyond comprehension. We could have been here so easily today lamenting and AGONIZING of what COULD HAVE been. The fact that we made it thru does not in ANY WAY justify Coughlin's/Gilbride's decision. We know better- this comes back to haunt you. It has before and it will again. Simple statistics. It is a 60 min game and when you only play 50 on offense you WILL get burned. http://ultimatenyg.blogspot.com

PJM I agree. I like Wilkinson, he has the speed the Giants LB's lack right now, especially with Pierce hobbled. Bob Popa said earlier last week that he thought it would be important to put Wilkinson on Witten because of the speed matchup (which LBs traditionally lose to TEs). http://ultimatenyg.blogspot.com

Seeing Owens cry after the game was enough for me. Whatever happens from here out is just gravy.

Can someone help me??? I can't find Sean Powell story on how the Giants would have won easier if they had played a black QB instead of Manning. By the way Newsday, GET OFF THE GIANTS BANDWAGON!!! You bash them all year while you bow down to the vacationing Jets. Don't even write about them, I'll read the Daily News instead. GO BIG BLUE and GO AWAY NEWSDAY!!!!

I was saying the same thing , get a first down. Something safe like a screen to Bradshaw or play action to Toomer or Boss on second down. They sacked Eli because they knew it was coming.

too predictable, yes PJM. they gave countless thousands of giants fans 9:27 of grief that was unnecessary. they better not to do that with Favre. http://ultimatenyg.blogspot.com

Wow I can feel the love here, you would ever have believed that the fiasco with Tiki ever took place, or that Giant fans really want to get rid of Coughlin and Eli, now all is well with the Giants. Enjoy it now that the Cowboys can't get you, but next year it will be on, and you will still have to go through the Cowboys to get anything done, are you up to it, will Eli stil be the man, or will turmoil surface when Eli has confidence problems, and goes back to being inconsistent. What about Shockey, boy you know he is a cancer, cooincidentally Eli got his act together the same time he got hurt. Hey maybe one of the Giants did that on purpose. You guys are reverting back to your old ways, making a safe screen pass to Bradshaw, man do what got you by Dallas, smash Greenbay in the mouth, don't doubt Eli again. Remember who's waiting on the other side of this season for you.

Yeah, Yeah next year. Nobody can foresee the future. Hell maybe in the off season TO gets shot or Romo breaks a leg in the preseason.
Not all Giant fans wanted to get rid of Tom or Eli. Shockey, a cancer? This was one of his best years. He always plays hard and this year he didn't say anything that hurt the team.
When you just need a first down to run out the clock you don't just chuck it downfield. Now you can all go to Mexico

Exactly what you said about shockey this year, is what we have in TO these past two years. He shut up, as much as TO can, and played the game. And maybe in your off season, Eli gets married to Tiki, whats up with that kind of talk, if something like that happens to anyone, that is awful, saying what if TO ges shot, and only a month after the Sean Taylor murder, shame on you PJM.

Sorry, I was just showing that anything could happen, like big Ben's motorcycle accident. It happened to the Giants last year when Ryan Grant cut his arm so bad he missed the season. And now he's on GB. I would never want TO to die from his wounds, just retire. ;^)
