We have to get better at icing opponents. We had a chance to put up points at the end of the 1st half and failed. That combined with the Ravens 1st possession in the 2nd half made it too close. Also why was Tynes in the game? His kickoffs haven't been long and one went out of bounds about 20 yards past where he kicked off. Bring back Carney.

i agree, bring back carney. why change now? also...what happened to the running attack in the second half? aside from bradshaws long run, it really wasn't so potent. but...the giants continue to roll on...way to go big blue.

The Fumble occurred on Nov. 19th, not November 16th, and it happened 31 years agok not 30.

Ravens just suck. Fans thought they were so good since they beat the likes of:

Bengals
Browns
Dolphins
Raiders
Texans

Bunch of jokes.

To the questions about Carney and Jacobs:

Don't know if this is true, I heard it on ESPN radio:

Carney: Out due to the windy conditions. Giants concerned with Carney's kick offs, already short, getting shorter each week. Made him inactive to let Tynes deal with the wind and let Carney get some leg rest.

Jacobs: Got banged up with undisclosed injury on the TD rush which wasn't immediately called. He was stood up past the goal line, had let up, the whistle hadn't blown, the Ravens hit him twice, he went down and got up hurting....Was left out of the game except for one play after that as a precautionary measure. Coughlin wants him healthy, and they say this is nothing serious. He's expected to play next week.

On a related note: The Refs should be shot for that delayed TD call. It put Jacobs standing up, and defenseless in the end zone on a play that everyone knew he had scored on. Even the Ravens had let up until one realize the whistle hadn't blown. He could have been seriously hurt.

Not enough went wrong to question coaches calls on a 30-10 victory on one of the best defensesive units in the league. Don't worry, be happy.

P.S.- Refs were responsible for that late whistle and extra hits on Jacobs.

I agree with the first part. The Giants have been making me sweat out "tight victories that should be dominating wins" my whole life. They've been getting better at it though. I knew Eli was the man back when he led the team to what should have been a win in Seattle in 2005...twice in the same game!

Agree, Giants just simply beat down the Mighty Ravens. 30-10, what a joke.

Our third string running back had the longest run from scrimmage in the NFL last year and the second longest run this year so far!

I feel sorry for the receivers - they are getting overlooked in the game plan, but having Eli's downfield threat is definitely heloing the ground game. Hopefully we won't see Flacco again for a few years.
