It rained Sunday night at Qualcomm Stadium. And it was wet, too. Great grab: Chargers cornerback Antonio Cromartie makes a diving interception of a pass in the first quarter, one of his three picks in the game ...

This game was an emotional rollercoaster. Being a faithful Colts fan from Southern California this was by far the most heartbreaking. Once again I think we're beginning to be cursed with the kickers (lets not forget the incident with Mike Vanderjagt). Hopefully this humbled Vinatieri. Overall Manning was great and we just need to keep at it.

Still feels like Stupor Bowl champions there Indy?

Face it, San Diego (a .500 team when all is said and done) owned you. Go ahead and rant and deny - your glory year is over.

Choke.....choke......dejected. .....get used to it Colts fans.

Oh, and by the way...the road to the Superbowl goes through Foxboro.

Hey, better luck next year. I love to see Manning pout. That bottom lip comes right out just like a 4 year old.
Hey, your quarterback must be better than Brady.....he makes more money.

I'm booking San Diego.

SEE YA.....on second thought....you'll be seeing me while you are watching on your T.V.

Pats fans still can't get a life. Not surprising. I'd love to write off the season like you chumps are, but with the way we're injured right now, if you honestly believe this is the Colts team that started 7-0, you're dreaming. We'll get healthy and we'll be back.

Looking forward to kicking Brady's butt in the playoffs.
You know it will happen...even if we don't get any calls. CYA there!

before you say - oh he is pats fan - i am not. i live in maine relocated from inday and a colts fan. but when are the fans going to just say the truth. they are playing poorly. I mean the begining of this article talks about mannings options are low. SO what ! thats football ! good teams fine a way to get it done. again I am not a pats fan but you get a allot of coverage up in NE- Their leading receiver in last years AFC title game is now out of football they had 4 starts out for most of the year and they had a great year WITH NO "WHAT IFS" AFTER. during the superbowls can any one recall who their receivers were ? or backs ? last year payton came up big in the 4 th quarter of the AFC title game NO QUSTION but look at his combined playoff record ? the pats the steelers routinley beat him in big games ON HIS OWN FIELD. Even last year look at the int's in the playoffs. aLL I am suggestiong is that maybe manning shouldn't get a free pass all the time - 6 int's lost the game not the FG missed ! We didnt loose the game because of Harrison being out - P Rivers was awfull but his team found a way to win. the game last week was his first big game this year and it was a loss , this was another big game on the road to bounce back - loss , I love him and i think he may be one of the best that has ever played but as an INDY fan I have to admit his track record for big games is not exactly HOF is it ? Doesn't he have loosing record in the playoffs?, His INT's to TD in the plaoffs is very poor and his rating ( which is useless i know ) is like 40 points lower - I am not sure he is the big QB we think he is ? I tell you what I really dodn't feel good about him walking into Pitt or NE in Jan - do you ?

The one thing that will make this season a success after the last 2 games is if the Colts ae healthy and meet New England in the AFC title game in New England

Manning doesnt improvise well. with his main guys down, he seems to think that a new reciever is going to run just like marvin and seems amazed when they cant. he throws the ball to where marvin would have been, not where the new guy is going. hey Payton, put down the playbook and see whats happening on the field. oh yeah, when do we meet the new special teams coach? soon i hope.

Fear not, Colts fans ... as a Patriots fan I can tell you we have the utmost respect for Adam Vinatieri ... in the long run, he'll make every pressure kick that counts in the future, no doubt. And the way the Colts battled back last night, being so under-manned, still strikes fear in the hearts of every NE fan ... but most of all, respect for a first-class franchise. We only hope that Adam doesn't prove his mettle against us down the road!

Message to Miquel: Manning was not great and Rivers stunk up the joint. Can anyone imagine how bad it would have been if that little bit of rain would have been blowing snow? See you in January?

A pleasure to hear from a rational Pats fan. There have not been very many here this season. We'll shake it off and keep coming. I am hoping to see your team in the playoffs. In fact, count on it! You guys are on fire, and I want another chance to put you out.

Why is it Patriot fans love to gloat on a Colt website? I think it has something to do with class and charector 2 things your illustrious head coach will never be associated with.

So, Manning can't play with B-class receivers? Something Brady's been playing with for years...more proof of who's better. I'm dying for the day he has to spend a season like this, like Brady has over and over again. Overrated is an overstatement.

Geez buddy, if you moved from Indy to New England I'm sure that you increased the average IQ of both areas. Shouldn't you actually be able to spell Indy if you lived here?

Thank you for that. We lost and we deserved to lose...but they showed more heart than any other team in the league. The Colts will be there when it counts...again.

As a Chargers fan, the Colts had me biting my nails last night. The Chargers win was pure luck. Wow! The Colts are great, and I hope they win the SB this year if the Chargers don't get it. Please...anyone but the Patriots. Would you mind taking them out for us in the playoffs? Hopefully we'll have a new coach by then. Good luck the rest of the way!

p.s. Cromartie wasn't undrafted- he was our 1st round pick

What lost the game were the two kick returns for touchdowns. The Colts punt and kickoff coverage teams have been awful for way too long. That has to be improved upon to have a chance at a playoff run.
