The Colts were beaten by the Moss height factor and that by only 4 points in the 4th quarter. Gotta somehow neutralize this, next time. Also, given the Colts' injuries, if anything, it's the Patriots that ought to be worrying. Beating a less that full strength team by four points ain't a whole lot to brag about. What's more, there will be a "next time" this season.

We need the guys to get back that are out. I think it's obvious our offense wasnt clicking this weekend when we needed it most. Gonzalez gets hurt in the first play of the game and now he is likely to be out at least two weeks. So then Morehead goes out there and he and Peyton have zero timing or rythym together. Bellicheck likes to take away your #1 and #2 options. That is widely known by NFl teams. So without Marvin he takes away Reggie and takes away Dallas and then you have who Morehead? Utecht? Fletcher? Why do you think Peyton didnt have any time to throw. He was going from #1,#2, by the time he got to #3 he had to get rid of it to a guy who wasnt where he was supposed to be before he got crushed.

That is why marvin is so important for if nothing but a decoy out there. You take away Marvin and Reggie and Dallas is open. We need all of our guys for this weekend. Ugoh as well.

I just feel like the Colts will hold guys out just as a precaution. Like they thought NE was just another preseason game. It wasnt. Losing that game sent us up to NE in January where we havent performed really well.

So hopefully Marvin can get over his "bruise" after 5 weeks and Ugoh can come out and give anything.

This is going to be another great test for our run defense this weekend. The chargers probably have the best RB and one of the best lines in the league.

I am guessing this coming weekend will not be a good weekend to be playing the Boys in Blue -- no matter where. As for the Patsies, they barely won the game that matters the least. Let's get to January.

The Patriots always worry, that's part of what makes them so good. But please, stop with the excuses. You're the Champs and this sort of lame stuff should be beneath you. The Patriots have won SB's with more guys out than you had out on Sunday.

And you're wrong about the nothing to brag about part too. Sure, I wish some of the cretins passing themselves off as Pats Fans were a little more stylish and literate about the crowing, but the way they handled that hostile environment, down late, IS something to brag about.

Good luck and stay/get healthy the rest of the Season, see you in January!

You lost, and deserved to lose with the defensive play of your Colts in the fourth quarter. Manning can't handle the pressure like Brady can. Your great coach, and he is, should tell his QB to 'zip it" after the losses, it just reflects poorly on the team's efforts. It's not all about Himself. Hopefully we'll see another great game between these two teams in January, and until then, accept your loss without excuses and move on.

S.C. Does rationalizing the 4th quarter melt-down by the defense and Manning change the outcome for you? "Barely" losing is still losing. Moreover, each game is equally important - a loss is a loss. Remember the slide of last year? It all started with one...

And the Colts still won the Super Bowl.
The Colts will regroup and bounce back from their loss. There is still plenty of games left to play. And the Colts will be ready.
See you come January.

The reality is you play with who you have. Last year in the AFC Championship Game the Pats were without several key players (i.e. Rodney Harrison for one). Result: Indy by 4. This dosen't mean that Indy didn't deserve to win. They did deserve to win because they were able to make the key plays with who was out there.

LOL...if NE is "The Patsies" AND WON!!!! What does that make your "Boys in Blue"?...lol....

Colts at home w/ a 10 point lead AND the ball w/9 minutes left and lose!!!

YEAH...They're the BEST!!!(tongue in cheek) Wow...talk about diluted fans, Ponies fans are dreamin' if they think that team can come into NE and beat the BEST team in football on their feild in -15 wind chill Foxboro on January 20th...get a grip...last year was a fluke!!!

And ended with Peyton Manning holding the Lombardi trophy high above his head.
Really, if you are going to talk about team melt downs, using last years SB Champion is probably not a good idea.

Why do Boston fans post stupid comments on Indianapolis newspapers? They do the same thing on Craigslist. And they all show about as much class as Tom Brady, who dates one woman while another carries his child. I'm sure Brady's parents are very proud.

Anyway. One thing I have learned is its better to play your best football in January, not October or November.

Some things I noticed Sunday:

1. NE linebackers are old. Junior, Teddy, and Bob were great in their day, but they have slowed down. Addai made them look silly. They will be even slower in January.

2. Matt Light is hopelessly overmatched with Freeney. As was whoever was trying to block Mathis.

3. Brady can't throw when he's on his back.

4. NE cannot run the ball. That will get ya beat in the playoffs.

The Colts will probably lose a few more games. They play in the NFL's toughest division. The AFC East is absurdly awful. So NE probably won't lose unless they rest their starters after clinching (no wait....that would require class. see above).

So the loss Sunday will actually mean little. The Colts would still have had to go to New England in the playoffs.....assuming they both win their first round games. And the problem with a first round bye is you have to play a hot team, still in their rythym, that's already won a playoff game.(e.g. Pitt over Indy 2 years ago, NE over SD last year).

And if I remember correctly, the Colts have won 2 or 3 straight in Foxboro. Home field advantage means a lot in basketball, but very little in football.

If I were a Colt, I would be very excited about an opportunity to beat NE in their own backyard.

And don't be surprised if Pittsburgh wins the AFC.

Not all of us, but some Colts fans get riled up by the Pats fans who come onto message boards and spew their hatred.
A lot of us know that both of these teams are great, and that both teams played a great game on Sunday, and as with almost every game, the team which played the best game won. This past Sunday, that happened to be the NE Pats. If we meet again, the only thing which will matter will be the play on the field. On that day, just as this past Sunday, the team which plays the best 60 minutes will come away the victor.

Totally looking forward to the rematch in Beantown in the dead of winter. In their effort to copy the Colts' recipe for success, the Patriots have become a one-dimensional passing team. The cold weather will affect the home team more than the offensively balanced Colts.

What is it about the fake noise in the dome stuff? You retards have never even been a a Colts game. I can assure you it is not fake. My skull has vibrated with all of the Colt crazies yelling in the dome. You NE fans need to get a life. Do you have anything better to do than getting on opponents websites? The only proven cheaters I know of in the NFL, play their games in MA.

I look for the Colts to lose to a desperate San Diego team Sunday and then win out going 14-2. That line about the dropped balls is sickening. I still cannot believe Reggie Wayne dropped that pass on 3rd and 2.
