Oakland Raiders waive linebacker Aaron Curry

Linebacker Aaron Curry, who played in the last two games after spending the first eight games of the season on the physically unable to perform list with sore knees, was waived Tuesday, the club confirmed.

This is kind of an interesting move. I wonder if there is somebody out there that we are looking to pick up that we are clearing roster space for.

it was almost expected that he was going to be waived. mainly cause of injury, they couldn't find a spot for him and saving money?

I said months ago that they would never bring him back so I guess I was right 1 way then I was wrong 1 way. it's good he only got 2 more games out of us, cuz he is dumb as a rock....

Slight of injury Curry instinctively was the best LB we had besides Wheeler. Nowhere him or Burris are good in coverage. Burris is just in there in sub packages cuz he's better than Mcclain in pass coverage, but all the 3rd & mid to long they pick on Burris if he aint blitzing. Don't get new wrong, I like Burris & infact all of our LBs. The defense is bad because of scheme. 3rd & short & Tarver calls a zone blitz numerous times leaving the middle of the field wide open. They won't bench willie smith so te offense is inconsistent. I watch the games & in my eyes it ain't the players besides willie smith. The play calling is forcing Palmer to force it too often & he is a beast but when its 3rd & long all the time, ur gonna have alot of 3& outs & int's. We need better coaching!

RAIDERS still have an extra spot on the roster because of aaron curry and have brought in (lb) kaelin burnett from the practice squad. a rookie out of nevada. he will trave to cici with the team.

hey, i didn't realize i wrote RAIDERS 2912!!!(LOL).
but anyways, RAIDRS signed jerrel davis to the practice squad. he replaces kaelin burnett who played last week vs cinci who replaced aaron curry.
they just don't know what to do after they get rid of a starter!
