No amount of prison time will ever make Michael Vick a decent human being. Is this the type person you want in the NFL?? Please give Vick a life-time ban. Even Canada would never hire him, as they dont hire convicted felons.

This is not the type of man I want to see having a job in the NFL. Doing something like this teaches our children nothing if someone who has committed such an evil act gets a job making such an huge amount with prestige. He should be banned forever!!!

Took advantage of him? He tortured dogs. He admitted it. his words,"I did it. I did it all". He took advantage of hundreds of bait animals along with pitbulls that "failed" him. What a pig.

Please don't feed this troll. It's obvious the dolt is just trying to see what type of responses he can get.

Oh please! This was not some kid fresh out of high school or college. Michael Vick is an adult, and thus responsible for his own decisions, wrong or right. It's become the American way, blame someone else for bad decisions.

I THINK EVERYBODY DESERVES A CHANCE TO REFORM AT
LEAST ONCE. I SUSPECT EACH OF YOU READING THIS HAS HAD THAT CHANCE IN SOME WAY. SOMETIMES FAME AND FORTUNE LETS YOU BELIEVE YOU ARE ABOVE THE RULES.
HOPEFULLY MIKE HAS LEARNED A LIFE LESSON FROM THIS.

He has done his time, he should get a chance to come back to the NFL. Horses and dogs that are use to race are killed all the time. Nobody goes to jail for that.

This new football league should sign Mikey Vick, he could be their pet monkey, sort of like the league mascot. I can see the league promotions now, bring two cans of dog food and get $5 off of your admission ticket. Mikey Vick was never of NFL quality as a Q-Back and most likely would fit in well with a minor league type team, hell, where is the XFL when a convicted dog fighter needs them? Mikey was an ESPN made player, a couple of plays of the day and not much in leadership for a game.
I will boycott any team or game this horrible person participates in. What he did to those dogs was extremely cruel and atrocious. Even though he served time, I doubt he is sorry for what he did.

I cannot believe that such acts of cruelty would be condoned, supported, and ultimately REWARDED by the NFL. I am truly disgusted. Please show that there are standards. Please show children that criminals are not heroes.

Michael Vick bought into the life as a celebrity and allowed himself to be held up as an example to our children through his sports celebrity status.

He then showed that he was nothing but a lying hypocritical felon by his involvement in the organized criminal enterprise he helped to run.

We need to stand firm and show our children that having any great talent no matter how entertaining or fun to watch DOES NOT in any way place us above the law and that when we either by our own direct actions or by passively allowing others to act on our behalf set our selves up as a role model to others the we agree to accept that we are held to a higher standard and that if we either as an individual or as a part of a larger group violate that public trust the we give up forever the vehicle we used to become that role model so that our children will see that the higher you go the further you fall when you make the wrong choices.

Kind of goes along the line of glass houses and stones.

He should be banned from ALL professional sports in this country FOR LIFE. He needs to have to go back to being just a plain everyday felon just like any other non celebrity would be. If all he can get for work is scrubbing toilets then he should be thankful to simply be out of prison and take his lumps like any of the rest of us would have to do - NO restoration of voting rights or firearm possession - simply be a normal human being who caused pain and suffering and who has to earn his way back to any sort of respect by proving over a long time that he has been truly rehabilitated.

A 29-30 year old QB who never could throw the ball and will bring only negative publicity to the team that signs him, I think it's a longshot he makes it back to the league after reinstatement.

I give it 1 season and this joke of a league will fail. The US economy is getting worse before it gets better. The negative consequences go far beyond professional sports. There are NFL teams that have serious money problems today. Look for the UFL to fold like a cheap tent during its inaugural season.
As for Mike Vick the longer he is out of pro sports the better.

Michael Vick, just like everyone else, deserves a second chance. If every person who has ever been convicted of anything is not allowed to reenter society and contribute by doing what he does best, our streets would be littered with a lot of unforgiven souls. I'm sure many of you are guilty of some sin -- maybe a felony -- and just haven't been found out yet.

I'm also sure many of you so-called dog lovers would feed an animal before you'd feed a child; neither deserves to be hungry, but an animal is 99.9% more likely to be able to feed itself. The dogs did not deserve to be tortured, but that does not mean that Vick deserves a life sentence. Bernie Madoff and the rest of his kind do deserve to be tortured!

Daily Horoscope for December 8

Libra

Get organized because that's the best way to be productive today. You're eager to be as efficient and practical as possible, but you won't get very far if you don't know what to do first. So draw up a list of priorities and start with the most urgent. Ideally, you should be left to your own devices while you do all this because that will aid your concentration and self-confidence.
