Even though he's hurt. He's still one hell of a receiver. Cowboys need to hang on to him

Jerry needs to release himself! Bring in Holmgren to GM and get a new head coach! Jason is just like Wade, a scarecrow! We need some fire and passion on the sideline. Romo was better when he had someone like Parcells on the sideline who would get in his ass when he made silly mistakes. Players always are banged up but under Parcells they played, under Garrett and Wade they sit out (outside of Ware and Dez) Miles needs to man up and learn to become more limber, lighten up on the weight training and increase stretching..he always is nagged by simple injuries that linger for far to long. The whole thing is just frustrating. You think Murray would have missed a half if season under Bill?! Hell no!! Remember when he made Julious Jones come back early from injury? The kid got 30'carries against a stifling Ravens D in Baltimore. It's time to make these premadonna's EARN their damn money. Miles is awesome, but his injuries, just like Ratliff, Murray, Jenkins, and Felix, simply happen to frequently! I got one name for you EMMIT SMITH!(Giamts game-sepedated shoulder-in the cold-giants stadium)You think Jimmy Johnson would stand for this CRAP?! Hell no! The culture needs to be changed, and it starts at the top. When your coach is SOFT, the team becomes that way! Go get a real leader, Cowher, or Gruden, I mean come on! This is the Dallas Cowboys we are talking about not the Arizona Cardnals, or Buffalo Bills, this is a Storied Franchise and the time is now for Jerry Jones to WAKE up and go get us a leader!!!! LETS GO!!!!!

In business when someone doesn't measure up or produce positive reults you replace them. The last person he had that could coach the team was Jimmy Johnson. Jerry's arrogance in not giving Jimmy full credit for the teams success was the beginning of a long history of bad decisions. Until he realizes he can't manage an NFL team like his other business enterprises nothing is going to change. I've been a loyal fan since 1960 and I'm still loyal, but as I see it major changes need to be made in all areas of rhe Cowboys organization. It starts and ends at the top. Time to wake up Jerry, your hands on management style isn't working. Why not replace yourself with someone who knows how to make the right choices and trust them to do what you haven't been able to do yourself? A new GM and coaching staff would be a good start. Then give them free rein and stay out of their business as much as you can. Why not, what you've done since Jimmy and his players left hasn't worked?

To fix the Cowboys, everything starts at qb. Romo is a backup qb at best, and never has been the answer (ala Danny White). Other NLF qb's are not the answer either (Grossman, Alex Jones, etc). The Cowboys need to work a trade with the Redskins for Kirk Cousins! Next, get a tough quality running back like Seatle or Chicago has. Third, work a deal to trade DeMarcus Ware and draft new younger players who have produced, and do not stayed injured. I should also mention Miles Austin; get rid of him!

Naw...Austin actually produces like an elite receiver when he is healthy. Problem is that he is rarely healthy. The argument that he helps Dez in coverage is simply inaccurate though.

Once you are a teams unquestioned #1 receiver AND considered game changing...defenses don't do anything different than they do with other elite receivers regardless of who is #2 on the other side because you have to commit to one or the other, not enough players to double two receivers and stop the run, tight end, and 3rd receiver when playing those sets

Whether your Dez, Andre, or Green, teams are going to put their top corner on you with safety help over the top, or they will use 3 cornerbacks and attempt to press the line with a linebacker picking up crossing routes in certain zone coverages.

The only player that changes for is Calvin Johnson

I think the cowboys need to cut austin because his age is starting to get to him and he's reached 1000 yards in a season 1 time, plus he drops a lot of passes.they need to give that money to somebody young and realy fast like mike wallace

Cowboys need to change the philosophy in the front office. They need to put more emphasis on the line scrimmage . If you watch there games closely you see them being dominated somewhere along the line on offense or defense. Teams have been
Finding there best match up weekly and make enough plays off of them to keep games close or win. Center ,both guards and right tackle could all use an up grade. DT and DE are average or below. LB and corners are a position of strength but with out solid defensive line play ,there made to look average. Jerry Jones is in over his head. Now he has created a task of building a new defense. It took him ten years to make this one respectable. It will probably be another five on this one. Keep it simple Jerry . Build the best line on both sides of the ball and you pick any coach you want. You can even hire Barry Switzer again.

The Patriots win because they use the spread offense. Basically two good tight ends and a quick slot receiver (Welker). They do throw deep at times, but wide receivers don't play a big part in their offense. The Cowboys have Witten, and need one more good tight end. Dwayne Harris could play the slot receiver. Dez could be the downfield receiver.
