After going 49-111 in the past decade we all have the right to be more than a little bit frustrated R.M.. I'm a little worried about you though brotha. Are you off your meds again? Lol. I don't need to remind you about what happened with Barrett Robbins do I? Ok, now I'm frustrated AND depressed!

I agree and disagree. Worse for the short term. But I feel good about where we are heading. Palmer was great. But if Flynn or Pryor step up, we will have a qb for years to come. Flynn is fresh for how old he is, meaning we could get an extra year or two out of him. Pryor is young. That in itself could be an upgrade because we hopefully won't need a starting qb for a. Long time.

That is a selective use of stats. Before Allen and McKenzie (4-12), the Raiders were 15-17. 8-0 vs. the Division one year and I believe 6-2 or 7-1 in Hue's last year. The Raiders had some quick-fix seasons and then they started to build the team on were dominating the division. RM is right and you just don't see it. In other words, if you are going to comment on meds, put the kool-aid down first.

That really doesn't make much sense. Of course it is worse in the short term, and based on if's? So the direction you feel good about is based on if's? Sounds like an excuse waiting to happen. Oh yeah. New era of excellence = new era of excuses. Check that. It does make sense.

Love flynn aboard, but I just hope Pryor gets his chance,Kinda think even if he outshines Flynn,no way we pay more than Seattle for him to ride the pine's. I do agree with mckensie moves so far, just glad to see it looks like where not throwing the season away..just hope we keep improving the secondary, cause its pretty obvious teams can throw on us AT WILL...

Freddy...(Mr. Glass half empty) you too are banking on what if's with you saying we will be worse, or that it's foolish to think this is a better way. Give it time to run its course. You can say we were worse last season, but that's like saying because a team is down in the first quarter, then they have no chance to win. We all know that's not true. Comparing what hue did to what Allen is doing is as ridiculous as comparing what Hue did to what Madden did. Its different coaches, a lot of different players and a totally different approach. So many Fans have bought into wanting instant success. But some of the best teams the last decade built their teams, instead of patch working every season. Yes every team patchworks to an extent. But that was Al's approach the last decade. And all we had to show for it was the "pride" of an 8-8 record??? We can agree to disagree, I like how this starting and think we are getting on the right path. You don't have to agree. But that is how I feel about it.

@HC...I disagree. we won't know until Not the end of this coming season, but the following season. We have two possibilities at qb, neither proven. So it will likely take some time. Also, cap space opens up next off season. So we will be in a better spot to sign what we need. This season won't likely garner strong results.

Not only do we have a Bush, we have a Bushrod and a Cuntler. All games where Caleb Haney was their QB have been stricken from my memory and the records

9-7 I think the Bears have relied on their defense too much in an offense oriented league. Trestman should make a difference play calling and he's adressing the O-line which was a huge weakness. Hopefully they'll take an offensive player in the 1st round then stock up on defense because of the allegedly deep talent pool in the DL
Raiders is addition by subtraction...
With Knapp out of there that should mean 4 more wins automatically and look at the bright side, Knapp might infect Peyton Manning as QB coach

AHHH!!! so true!, but maybe not. manning is his own coach and the broncos coach. he say's what goes on!
as far as your bears, i totally forgot about trestman being your (HC). if offense is his cup of coffee, he will get an (O-player) to protect his untler! cause lowered knows, he needs more time to throw than he's always had. ever consider tebow? he can scramble pretty good(lol).
