Where the United States Government is concerned, I'm an equal opportunity hater. Going out and working and being forced to pay this tax and that tax just to stay out of a jail cell isn't my idea of freedom. The IRS, The and the welfare system is nothing more then theft. It's not up to me to work so that lazy ass people don't have to. Its not charity if you're forced to pay. I'd rather see my money going to help my friends and family in their times of need.
If the system was honest and not corrupted by dirty politicians and special interest groups amongst many others social security and taxes are good and necessary for a country like the US. Just a couple examples for you, if not for taxes what would you drive on? Where would you get clean water? Where would your sewage go? Who would police? Who would keep other countries from taking this land as we did?

Yes, there are people who take advantage of the system and leech off the working man and woman but there are just as many who really need the help and would go back to work if mentally and physically able.

I have no problem with State taxes and Sales taxes to pay for roads etc. piss on the IRS and the Fed tho. I know that some people really need help but that's what family and friends are for or private charities. Love em or hate em, churches reach out to help those in need. Local church here hands out food once a month and takes up donations to help families during tragedies and trying times. We're being taxed to DEATH!!! As the people on this thread don't like being told what to believe in, I don't like being told where my money should go. I talked to a guy on FB that is paying out 55% in taxes!! That means he works for free from January well into June. That's outrageous, and the rest of us are being screwed too. There's not enough people paying in to support those who aren't.

You are mixing state and federal responsibilities. Federal has nothing to do with local police, fire, sewage, clean water, roads, etc. the exception for roads was when Eisenhower built the interstae highway system as a means to provide for a better defense for the US, the highways 3 functions by priority..national defense then commerce (trucking products around the nation to upscale the economy), and lastly, public use for travel. Most of today's funded federal gov't areas are not original forefather functions, though National Defense is. People in gov't want gov't to be bigger so it's easier to slice off a bigger piece for themselves without it being noticeable. Want a better economy and life for all Americans? Just cut the size of gov't. every dollar they don't take can be used by the private sector for growth and job creation.
Ever notice how politicians come into gov't with a limited bank account and spend like there is no tomorrow, but after a few years they are mega wealthy? Limit their terms/years in office, have better oversight, and downsize an organization that takes advantage of the populace. Getting rid of the Fed, IRS, and Prisons while limiting the budget to a percentage of GDP and mandating deficit free budgets ....it's great to be educated so you can see and understand what is going on....the next problem however is the lack of integrity and faithfulness in those we elect. Got to recreate the system so those elected can do the least amount of harm. Once you give them access to your wallet they incrementally take more and more until they destroy the society by manipulation of the economy in their personal favor. Even a sixth grader on our block asked me how a certain politician got to have multimillionaire in his net wealth when he had almost nothing to start and was only in office for 3 years. Kids aren't stupid, time we show them we aren't either. One kid even suggested that grown ups should figure out who to vote for, then vote for the other guy since its the grown ups that have screwed up the world. Cute but both candidates are usually on the take so it's best we just limit gov't because you can't legislate honesty and integrity.

I just did a slow clap before I stood up to give a better ovation. Well said.. Ron Paul recently said we should just nullify the entire year of 1913, the year the Fed and IRS started. What a great president he would have made. I've been following Rand lately but I fear he's falling into the typical politician down spiral by using the Libertarian mind set to manipulate his republican agenda. I hope I may be wrong but as of late he's really been milking the drone filibuster he did and not really doing much to build on it. It's kinda funny they pass laws like Obamacare for the people then exempt themselves as they get another salary raise. Sounds like a monarchy to me.

So you've got me all figured out because you've read a couple of my posts here in this particular thread. That's just amazing and also very assuming but again, I expect nothing less from closed minded people like you.
TT himself used religion to promote himself by "tebowing"(trademark ed by TT)for every camera week after week and then talking about his faith and beliefs every chance he could.
I personally have no issues with Kurt Warner, Brady Quinn, the late great Reggie White(who I actually respect)who's faith could never be questioned and those players who simply point to the sky and maybe thank their savior briefly on camera and hold group prayer after football games, that's fine and I tolerate it easily because they're being decent enough to not offend and slam their beliefs down the throats of the ones who either don't believe or didn't tune into a sports show to watch religion. If you respect me and are sensitive to us who don't believe as you, you'll get the same from me for sure in return. Period.
TT on the other hand has no sensitivity or tolerance for those who aren't of his faith and is a walking hate-mongering hypocrite to his own faith and he's using all of you sheeple to get what his skills or lack thereof can't in the NFL. The man has even been called out by one of his own. Dr. Robert Jeffress basically called TT a wimp for not standing up and proclaiming his TRUE beliefs because he was afraid it would further hurt his chances of having an NFL job. That's not called having faith and standing up for god through thick and thin! What a disciple Peter-hypocrite TT is! Oh wait, that's TT's brother!
Here's the quote and article: Dr. Robert Jeffress- "I am grateful for men of God like these who are willing to stand up and act like men rather than wimping out when it gets a little controversial and an inconvenient thing to stand for the truth," Jeffress said. "God bless men like that."

You can't judge a book by it's cover or by reading the first couple pages but you did that to me. Only the ignorant do that. So what are you? I wont judge you as you did me. Time will tell me all I need to know.
You really don't see it do you? You just did judge the commentor and Tebow and everyone else, then said you wouldn't. Clealy maladjusted possibly a malcontent.
You show no remorse and more hate in one little article than Tebow has his entire life. He may not make it as a pro but he has every right to try, despite being imperfect like the rest of mankind. And most of what you say isn't even accurate but comes from a mind in need of ...let's be kind and say reconditioning. We will hang on to those nasty medical terms sociopath and psychopath for later when you reveal a bit more of yourself. You really present yourself as a hate mongerer, which makes me pity, not hate you. Try not answering back but rather look deep down inside and try to figure out why you are like you are. Where you abused or passed over for promotion? You should get it addressed. As for Tebow, he is a quality young man and athlete, just possibly not QB material. You should aspire to be more like him not show your jealous side. Whenever you call someone a hypocrit or selfish or self justied you should look in the mirror, it just may be yourself you are describing. As for Tebow, he is Christ justified, and that's the real question isn't it? People are either self justified or Christ justified. It all comes down to who you put in control of our life, either God as Chrst did or yourself as Lucifer did. Balls in your court, time to take action and chose.

Need more tough love examples like this one above. Too many people scream for the need for acceptance when in fact their stated position is just plain wrong, and the only true acceptance is In Christ. Scripture clearly states that God loves the sinner but abhors the sin (think prodigal son, and come back to Him, He will lovingly accept you). Again, God loves homosexuals,(yes He does), but He hates the practice of homosexuality just as He hates all sin, lieing, cheating, stealing, premarital sex, adultery and many more. Too many focus on other peoples sins but not their own, others think the solution to falling short of God's manual for life is to either claim there is no God so the Bible means nothing (they think that if they disregard their problem it will go away...it doesn't), outlaw His Bible as hate literature because it is non-accepting to the twisted/contaminted mind or twist it until its unrecognizeable to the original. This is why most no longer are aware of who Billy Graham is. He tried to save America from turning out as it has today, by trying to get us to focus on Christ, as the Bible presents Him. I can only imagine how much worse it would have been, if that's possible. And for the simple minded, pick Christ over Satan, He has much better living quarters, and thermostatic controls. Hint, hint. Whether its the glory of heaven or the pain of hell that gets your attention, the Best thing to focus on is the person of Jesus Christ and what He did to reconcile you to God, Himself.

Never mind the statement about Joseph or Mary; it's that statement about the Lord that hold eternal ramifications -- for your own sake, don't do that, and repent from it!
God will forgive any sin but you must come to Him in humility before you die. Since nobody knows when that is, and it could happen at any time, it's best to come to Him as soon as possible to ensure you gain HIs blessing and avoid an eternity without Him. I pray you decide wisely..

God hates Tebow. If God loved Tebow then he would fulfil his dreams of being a top NFL QB. Instead, He gave Tebow a horrid scattershot passing motion. God's Plan is obviously to have Tebow out of the NFL.

God loves Flacco. Check out his contract.

There appears to be interest in Tebow from the Arena Football League. Perhaps he should condier it. A few years of arena football helped a former NFL failure, Tommy Maddox, become a decent NFL QB for the Steelers.

That post seems ironic coming from a sewer mind like yours that can never be taken seriously by a sane person. If you hate religion that much, the solution is simple. Don't go to church. It is your constitutional right to worship as you please or not all all if that is your choice. The religious right has long since lost its grip on this country, so his religion poses absolutely no threat to you.

Yes, I provide the proof of why people like you are dumbing down America. I have yet to see anything that could remotely resemble intelligent from you. I am not a big fan of his, but after seeing all that hate posting about him, I have become sympathetic toward him. Just for the record, I never thought he should have been drafted in the first round and I still don't believe he has proven that he belongs in the NFL. Perhaps a stint in arena football might give him needed playing time he didn't get in NY and give him a chance to hone his skills and perhaps get another shot in the NFL.

I don't know of any piece of legislation that's totally positive and helps everyone in every group 100% and everyone approves and takes nothing away from anyone and does nothing negative at all and offends nobody.
Socialized health care will help many people who are in desperate need of medical care but it will have ramifications to others as does all legislation.
I know your kind. If two people had taken a deadly poison and you only had one antidote, you would split it so each got a fair share. Only problem is that you just killed them both. Better that one lives than they both die, but that wouldn't be fair right!

RG3 set up a bridal shower registry at Bed Bath and Beyond recently in preparation for his upcoming wedding. Fans found out and bought everything on that registry. Upon thanking the fans for their kindness on FB and twitter he was bombarded with people telling him that since he's "Rich" he shouldn't accept the gifts, but donate them to charity. Bear in mind, HE DIDN'T ASK FANS FOR ANYTHING, they did this on their own. This is a perfect example of what our countries mindset is right now. No matter how hard you work for a bit of financial freedom, you're a terrible person if you accept a gift from a lower income person, ITS YOU that should be giving to THEM no matter what.

What frustrates me is that no matter how hard we work to make a living we can't gain any ground because there's always somebody with their hand out wanting to take WHAT WE'VE EARNED. I have no problem with helping people out, I'd just like to be able to see exactly where MY money goes and have a say in who gets the help.
