A little comment - Jusayin, you sure are bent on trashing a belief in God. I believe in God and have friends who don't, but I certainly don't trash them. And what does a person's belief have to do with playing football? You can't seem to separate the two, and I'm going to guess you have posts all over the place where you trash anyone who believes in God, or religon in general. Go join a group that aligns with your non-beliefs and you will be much happier (or will you?)
Now for Tim Tebow. Yes an excellent Q back in high school and college. Cliff Charlton, I agree with you, let him play his game. Thus far, no team seems to want to have a running Q back. NFL defensive players are giants and could knock his noggin pretty bad, but what the heck, he's willing!
Many years ago (and let me stress the word many), I dated someone who was a defensive player at UF. I saw him this last Christmas and his fingers are all crooked. One of his fellow teammates is now blind in one eye for being a BIG hitter at LB for Tampa Bay. Personally, I don't get it, but these guys do it anyway.
Where will Tebow land? On his feet, that's where.
So you've got me all figured out because you've read a couple of my posts here in this particular thread. That's just amazing and also very assuming but again, I expect nothing less from closed minded people like you.

TT himself used religion to promote himself by "tebowing"(trademark ed by TT)for every camera week after week and then talking about his faith and beliefs every chance he could.

I personally have no issues with Kurt Warner, Brady Quinn, the late great Reggie White(who I actually respect)who's faith could never be questioned and those players who simply point to the sky and maybe thank their savior briefly on camera and hold group prayer after football games, that's fine and I tolerate it easily because they're being decent enough to not offend and slam their beliefs down the throats of the ones who either don't believe or didn't tune into a sports show to watch religion. If you respect me and are sensitive to us who don't believe as you, you'll get the same from me for sure in return. Period.

TT on the other hand has no sensitivity or tolerance for those who aren't of his faith and is a walking hate-mongering hypocrite to his own faith and he's using all of you sheeple to get what his skills or lack thereof can't in the NFL. The man has even been called out by one of his own. Dr. Robert Jeffress basically called TT a wimp for not standing up and proclaiming his TRUE beliefs because he was afraid it would further hurt his chances of having an NFL job. That's not called having faith and standing up for god through thick and thin! What a disciple Peter-hypocrite TT is! Oh wait, that's TT's brother!

Here's the quote and article: Dr. Robert Jeffress- "I am grateful for men of God like these who are willing to stand up and act like men rather than wimping out when it gets a little controversial and an inconvenient thing to stand for the truth," Jeffress said. "God bless men like that."

You can't judge a book by it's cover or by reading the first couple pages but you did that to me. Only the ignorant do that. So what are you? I wont judge you as you did me. Time will tell me all I need to know.

Wow...such cutting remarks towards Tebow...it is such a shame that his beliefs are attacked so harshly...I honestly can not remember anyone being so viciously blasted because they believe in God...maybe he is not a "super hero" at football...but in order to grow in any endeavor one has to be given a "real" chance to prove themselves...so why can't his honesty...integrity...characte r...genuine concern for others...and his ability to remain true to himself and others be the focal point?...look for positivity...unless you are so filled w/negativity that you feel the need to trash others...if there were more role models like Tim we might see a difference in the persona of others...CONTINUE TO STAND STRONG TEBOW...YOU ARE A WINNER IN ALL WALKS OF LIFE!!!!

He is a role model I'll give you that
He chose a profession where you have to compete to earn a living
nothing is "given" to you, you have to earn it
That is where he falls short, he sucks at practice

What's TT's concern for G&L's?

What's TT's concern for a woman's right to choose?

What's TT's concern for the Jews?

What's TT's concern for the Muslims?

Where does TT believe all these people will end up if they don't think and believe as he does?

I'm sorry, I don't want my children using TT as a role model. They'd grow up to be assuming and judgmental and ultimately hypocrites because that is all TT is because that is what christianity has widely become. You all have seriously lost your way because none of you are anywhere close to acting "christ-like".

TT also has NO convictions especially when it counts as we saw TT turn into a coward and put his NFL career before his god when he backed down and wouldn't proclaim his true hate-mongering message in Dallas earlier this year prompting the preacher there to call TT a wimp. Even one of his own takes serious issue with him. That should say it all but I'm sure to defend TT you'll tear down Jeffress and make stuff up about him as you'll do with everyone else that defies your golden calf.

I never saw Tebow as "Standing up for God". I saw him more as using religion to promote and hype his football career. Christianity is about being humble and letting your actions speak for you. At the end of the day, he's just not a starting QB at the NFL level. I think he's a great athlete, I think he'd do better at another position.

Exactly! I never did either and trying to get the tebowmaniacs to see how he's fooling them is like trying to get water out of a rock. The man can do or say no wrong to them now. They follow him like as if he were Jesus and have even gone so far as to petition the President to make the Jags hire TT. This is beyond insanity.

The NFL is full of great athletes but the reason why they're in the NFL is because they can perform at the professional level at their position consistently which TT cannot and as we both know is the reason he's technically not in the NFL.

I'm a huge Redskins fan so I wanna ask all the Tebow fans that read this thread to start following the career of Robert Griffin III. Not only is he an intelligent Christian man, he can play football, too!!

Lol, I'm shameless aren't I?

Haha, maybe just a little.

RG3 is cool with me. He lets his play do all the talking as it should be when you're a pro ball player.

RG3 is aces. He shows his faith, of course, but he doesn't make a show of it. Tebow, on the other hand, is constantly praying in the middle of the field and saying Jesus every other second. It's annoying.

Not to mention, RG3 can actually do that thing that QBs have to be able to do. What's it called? Something like "throwing the ball well"? Idk, something like that.

The man cannot throw the football at the NFL level. He's already had his chances. Talent evaluators on 32 different NFL teams can't be wrong. Only the casual NFL fans/wussy bible freaks want to see this guy play anymore. And eventually even they will lose interest and go back to watching Highway to Heaven reruns.

I agree totally. I started wondering if Tebow was Jim Bakers illegitimate son there for awhile. I couldn't help but be reminded of the PTL scandal. Hopefully he's learned a lesson in humility and its humbled him. His flash in the pan career is proof that "God must have a different plan" for him. I'm not speaking cynically toward religion, I love Jesus myself. I just can't stand to see people use their faith to draw attention to themselves to exploit others into buying into whatever personal cause they're promoting. It's just WRONG on so many levels.

As a Tebow fan, do you believe he would have greater success playing at a different position? Right now he's having a problem with his marketability as a QB. The NFL is flooded with better talent at that position. I've heard it mentioned moving him to tightend would be a good call. He has a great talent for making plays after getting the ball, I tend to agree with the TE assessment. What do you think?

I like him too....but, he better not take any more massive hits, or he will become a pocket passer, and he may have less of a future there.....let's hope he can continue to scramble...INTELLIGENTLY......

Most QBs get a chance to understudy and adjust without ridiculous expectations and scrutiny. He simply won more than he lost when thrown in prematurely. In addition, his ability (without experience) was good enough to win a couple of playoff games. The same "super" Broncos team- with notable additions at RB and WR was bounced in the first round with HOF, Godalmighty Peyton-His-Majesty Manning and every benefit of the doubt. The Jets never gave Tebow an entire offensive package of any sort, with any option to pass. He was sent in to run into the pile- when everybody knew it. That's not the same as a true offense. He is never going to Wow anybody in practice- we've always known that from the combines. TT is a gamer- always has been. Somebody will pick him up, tweak their offensive package- and be given the credit as a genius.

Tebow is a fraud and you are an enabler. Was it you that sent a petition to the White House demanding they get involved in Tebow's return to Jacksonville
You and all his other enablers should go somewhere and drink koolaid
