The next three Minnesota Vikings home games will be televised locally. The Vikings play three weeks in a row at the Metrodome, starting Sunday against the Detroit Lions, followed by Nov.

The better question is how can you compare Steckel's 1984, 3-13 team to the 2009, 7-1 Childress team?

Every time a franchise brings in a new head coach, they announce the three or four year rebuilding plan and then most of them fail to meet the objective. Childress built this team and has improved as a head coach each year.

If you think talent doesn't require coaching to be successful then explain how perennial losers that dominant the early draft choices year after year continue to loose?

Just in case you haven't figured out what the rest of the football world knows, this team is competitive and it is not in spite of Childress. It is because of him.

Pretty soon Chinas going to want to cash in there stake in our debit and we wont be able to pay them, but your right Obama didn't more than double our debt since hes been in. All these Childress bashers just don't forget that as the head coach he's largely responsible for building this team up, with Wilfs money of course.

If the same numb-nuts who were blaming him for the loses cannot give him a little credit for the talent he's brought in to get the Vikes to 7-1 then you are completely lacking in intellectual integrity and, worse yet, just don't know football.

You can't, by any stretch of the imagination, blame him for the losses and then not give him at least some credit for the wins.
