This case ultimately needs to be decided by common sense. Yes the Williamses' failed a drug test for using a banned substance. No, they are definitely not using steroids. It appears the NFL definitely published a statement making teams aware that StarCaps and its manufacturer are on the banned substance list. Neither side being willing to budge is ridiculous. Obviously the players didn't have a problem being tested before they failed the test. Serve your suspension and move on, ultimately the NFL will get it their way and have a "uniform" drug testing policy regardless of this speed bump.

The image of the NFL as a whole (League, player, owners, ect...) is becoming tarnished. This should not have gone to trial, work out a compermize in house. Airing dirty laundry doesn't make the NFL look strong, just unable to work with players. Not putting out a notice to every player via e-mail or even tack a list of banned items on a the wall. To not give help the player (your money makers for the NFL) in every way possable to stay out of trouble is stupid.

So, i guess if you play for the vikings in minnesota it's ok to do steriods. According to state law. I think it's kinda makes it unfair for the other teams that can't do steriods. 31 teams follow one rule, 1 team gets to make their own rules.

Gee. You have an IP address: Milwaukee, WI. How surprising... So if Rodgers & Hawk used a drug that the League banned, and the drug wasn't on the label of the product they used, you'd be just fine with the League f'in' with them too? Don't be a pathetic GB cheeseturd. Just about everybody outside of The Vikings' division rivals' fans think
this is caca.

I break this issue down to its basics. One the banned substance was hidden from the listed ingredients and two the league knew about it and said nothing. It kinda reminds of me of an old fashioned speed trap or the updated version of that, the well hidden DUI checkpoint. Fight for what's right Williams Boys...we must never give in to injustice!

Regarding Favre...I hate him, but I guess I will have to learn to not, kinda like when McMahon (bears) lead us that one season...he better damn well win us a Superbowl!!!

”The well hidden DUI check point”???? You lost me on the analogy there. Are the big boys heavy drinkers? Are you implying it is wrong to track down drunk drivers? Are you a drunk driver? Step into my office.

Well we knew we had a pretty good team just need a real leader, QB and coach. Hopefully Brett can do that we'll have to wait and see.

Anybody watch the game on the NFL network between the giants and Vikings? They ran 4 plays with 2 time outs and 2 min left in a must win game. That is the worst I have ever seen of a coach and so called Quaterback.(T-Joke).

Yep! Sure did watch it.........A YEAR AGO! Is this the 1st time you've seen it? I was at the game. It's a good thing that the Giants took some of their starters out part-way through, or we never would've won it. But....we still would've been NFC North champs, cause the Bear's lost to Houston that same night.

GO VIKINGS!!!!

You TOTALLY missed the point... Try this: A family member of yours dies from taking a medication that you purchased over the counter at a drug store. Later, it's determined that the death resulted from an allergy to a compound within that drug that wasn't listed upon the label. Then, to add insult to injury, you find out that the pharmacist that sold the drug knew what it contained, and that it was potentially deadly to members of your family, and sold it anyway, without even mentioning it.- You, and other GB & Chicago fans, sound like you'd be fine with a family going through something like this, as long as it wasn't in YOUR family.

The rest of the world seems to understand that not labeling "certain contents" upon medication bottles is wrong. And having trained personel,(including licensed Medical personel) know about it, and not report it to the proper authorities, is irresponsible at best, and criminally negligent at worse.- Having ANY organization cover their as-s in something like this by basically saying it's in your contract in small print that it's okay for us to do this, and it's your fault if we're caught being irresponsible employers, is repulsive to most people.
If you and others are so "rightous" about believing this is correct behavior, then why is it you and these others usually turn-out to be GB or Chicago fans, and neglect to mention other players from other teams involved in this also? Only a Division rivals' players...

Yeah. Remember what happened when The Vikings played Houston? NOT the same thing that happened when Chicago played Houston.

Who cares about Aaron Rogers, I hope Brett mentors me. I will share my helicopter maneuver/fumble technique with him if he does.
