His trial starts November 30th, Frank Murphy Hall of Justice in Detroit. Judge Hathaway is presiding. Judge Hathaway is no joke, so Javo will have a difficult time trying to claim temporary insanity. He did not confess - otherwise there would not be a trial. At his hearing in August he pled not guilty - and asked for a jury trial. The trial will open all of your eyes, especially those of you who could not believe Javo could not do something like this - you will learn that your beloved Javo is a cold calculating killer. He murdered Courtney with every intention of going on with his life - without remorse.

What's to Judge... he shot her in the heart... did you miss that part? Called for help... waited for the ambulance... changed his shirt and then shot himself in the stomach area... what a big difference from shooting someone in the heart and yourself in ths stomach... why didn't he shoot himself only... or shoot himself in the heart... duh... cause he wanted to live...

The difference is you can see him and talk to him for the rest of his life...IN JAIL... her family and friends "CAN'T TALK OR SEE HER"... THAT IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE...HE DECIDED TO TAKE HER LIFE... You say you know what is it to loose a family member.

Was your family member "murdered" by someone they knew. Did your family member die before their mother and father and they had to bury their child. Did your family member have a brother who lost his only sister and now is alone with no sibling for the rest of his life?

If not then no you don't know how her family and friends feel at all. You are no where close to understanding her family's pain and loss.

Someone please tell me if Courtney and JJ were the only people in the room who the heck are the witnesses???? And this video that has been mentioned....was him shooting her on there???? Because if that was the case there would be no need for a trial! And he flagged and then went and shot himself??? And changed his shirt....all before EMT and the police made it to the room???? How long did it take them to get out of the car and run right behind him???? He would have had to shoot himself right in front of them if it happened like that. And also if she was dead and he couldnt talk for 2 days after the shooting where did all of the stories come from that next morning??? All these mean and hateful things that are being said are terrible. God is THEE only person that can judge somebody. And if you are a person of God then all you can do is forgive. Last Thursday Courtney's beautiful memory was recognized at a emotional candlelight vigil where there was a candle and prayers said in her memory to STOP DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.

BUT WERE YOU THERE TO SAY A PRAYER?

Perhaps you should channel your energy towards a cause like this - so many women and children are murdered every day.

For all of Cuz's family who missed court today, here is an update; the judge decided today that the first degree murder charges for Cuz will stand and threw out his plea for second degree murder. Praise the Lord, justice prevails!

I met him back when i was in the 6th grade when he 1st came to michigan... I became his friend only because he had a thick country accent that i found amusing... We hung out & i used to skip classes and hangout at his house. It's so crazy that he would do such a thing. I spoke to him a few months before he shot his GF and he still seemed like the same old guy from school... I guess u never really know a person. I did find it interesting that his "family" are posting all these comments because he said he didnt really have a family... I dont care to get into his whole life story (or the stories he told me) but he told me if it wasnt for his fam in southfield, he would have went into foster care... so where did all u Ohio ppl come from??? i think u people just like the attention

Just like you "School Friend" we in Courtney's family only knew of the Southfield family. Who are these "Cuzzes" floating out of nowhere and where are they when he has his court appearances? His Southfield family is there...

Anyway - per Chief Atty Dorsey, trial still set for Nov 30th so I hope all of the Cuzzes will show up so they can see and hear first hand the cruelty this evil man wrought. Yes, there are two sides to every story - good and evil. The evil side will not prevail this time, it is certainly in God's hands.

I knew Javorris Jackson because he did not stay far from me when he lived in Greensboro, Alabama. I would like to apologize to Courtney's family because what he did was wrong. There is not any reason for any man or woman to decide if a person should live or die. No one should be upset with what Courtney's family have to say because he will get everything that he deserves and he should. But to Courtney's family we cannot hate any man, hate what he did. You say that he will go to hell but if he do go to hell do not send your soul behind his soul by judging and hating one of God creatures. You have to pray that hate away and keep Courtney alive in your heart and soul. I knew him for many years but I will never have or give any kind of excuse for what he did. He will get what he deserve and the only thing anyone can say in his family is that they wish he would have thought before he did what he did and apologize to Courtney's family. Love didn't do it Javorris did it. I cannot understand why so many people choose to take a life because things are not going the way they would like it to go. But I am not here to judge anyone... I just wish there were more that we could do to make changes in this world.
Yes everyone was and continue to be shocked that Javorris would do such terrible and hurtful thing but no one can take it back. And everyone that is in is life has to deal with the consequences that he will have to pay. To Courtney's family, do not worry because I have a feeling that he has not seen the last of Courtney. She will hunt him for his entire life. Have faith in the Lord and know that he will take this matter in his hand.
And for Javorris family, I know you all are very upset about what is going on but have some sympathy for Courtney's family. It does not matter how sweet Javorris was are how sweet he is. What he did is WRONG. It does not matter how you look at the situation, IT WAS WRONG!! Stop making it seem as if he was the innocent guy. Yes we know you loved him but it's really not about him anymore. You have to look at Courtney's family lost and not yall pain. Yes it will hurt to know that Javorris may be in prison for the rest of his life but how do you think Courtney's family feel. They will not be able to touch or see her EVER again!! So let's please stop talking about how you can not believe that he did what he did because he did. Just apologize to the family and let it be.
