Problem is as a 71 yr. old, I am required to eat white bread, white rice, and avoid any type of bran or whole grain cereals. Also I have to avoid any vegetable or fruit containing a high potassium level. Additionally, I have to avoid anything with a high levels of common salt or sugar. To make matters worse, I am on a controlled portion diet at that; 1/2 cup of fresh (uncooked) veggies as an example.
Exactly what is left to eat giving me a varying diet. Normal shopping leaves too much wasted food.
