Ah yes, more of the endless campaigning by groups like PETA, vegans and other do-gooders to force their dietary and lifestyle choices on the rest of us, because they know best how everyone else should live.

It always starts like this, doesn't it?

1) A bunch of wowsers and do-gooders, who think they know best what's good for everybody else, decide for whatever reason that they don't like X.

2) Said do-gooders gather together to form a lobby group.

3) "Studies" are then commissioned to "prove" that X is bad for health, bad for society, causes crime, damages the environment, enables paedophiles, empowers terrorists, etc. etc.

4) Said do-gooder lobby group begins astroturfing to create the fiction that their cause has popular support.

5) Politicians begin running for office on the platform of "regulating" X.

6. X gets taxed as a "luxury", then regulated/rationed, then slowly restricted as to where X can be used, and then finally banned.

Enjoy your steaks and roasts while you have them, guys. The PETA/vegan/AMA do-gooders will soon be denying you the pleasure.

When so much of our farming land is over-worked and becomes less fertile and the population continues to grow exponentially, increasing demand whilst reducing the space and fertile land from which animals can graze, it is inevitable that meat will become very expensive and a luxury that most people will rarely if ever be able to afford.

AussieSteve is a sheep who can't think for himself.

If nobody else on Earth ate meat, or milk, or eggs, would you still say it was 'normal'?

You eat those products for only ONE reason - you were brought up in a (sick) society which told you it was normal. That is the ONLY reason. Please don't pretend you've ever thought any of this through, since your comments prove otherwise.

You can't have 6 BILLION omnivores, the size of human beings, on a planet this size. Do you have any idea of how many lions there are per prey animals?

How far can you open your jaw? Wide enough to bite the spine of a cow? A pig? Can you separate their vertebrae with your bite? Thought not. You know nothing about the subject, but are just bleating whatever you think will keep you 'safe'- i.e doing exactly what you've always been doing.

We evolved to hunt with weapons... Are you seriously that retarded? Humans weapon is our minds, we've always been hunter gatherers, hence being omnivores, hence having canine and herbivore teeth, a balanced diet is best, not your tree hugging communist loving Nazi behaving bullshit.
