I agree that cutting *back* on meat would benefit alot of people, myself included.<quoted text> I meant wild animals such as lions, tigers, hyenas, cougars, wolves ect... Those types of wild animals.
Those animals need meat to survive, without it they would die therfore its ok for those animals to kill other animals for food, including humans.
Humans DO NOT need meat for survival. We can thrive (and millions do) on a balanced plant based diet. There is no need to kill other animals. Plus meat does a lot of damage to human health and kills millions each year.
I don't agree that a human can go as lifetime without it and be healthy. Everyone I know that lived into their eighties and nineties ate meat.
My Grandpa dunked his toast in bacon grease after he ate the bacon! Skinny as a bean pole throughout his life, he passed at 94 years old.
How many studies have been done on people who have been vegans from birth? What was their average lifespan?
Why do schools (all of them as far as I know) offer a meat product in the school lunch at least four times per week?
