Veganism - doing the right thing

Jul 7, 2011 Full story: www.jpost.com 919

Vegans are people who take vegetarianism a step further. Not only do they eschew all meat, poultry and fish, but they also won’t touch eggs or any kind of dairy produce.

Of course, it is a non vegan world. See , 6 years ago I purified my entire system ( detoxed digestive system, flushed my liver , have done master cleanse 3 times) aka removed all the traces of diary, fish and meat that I used to eat out (because I had high sugar and LDL 266 and started to develop cervical cancer) I was still 110 lb, but my according to my blood work I was dead.:( after I made those changes ( detox) I went vegan. Now, even a slightest trace of animal product in food is breaking me in hives as it is a poison my body spits out. So, I went that far down with my health to discover what I know now. I did not need any vegan propaganda to pull my head out of my ass and make those changes. That is just personal experience .
Happy for you... honestly... but I've had the opposite experience. Animal proteins contain all 8 of the essential amino acids our bodies do not synthesize. Being vegan and getting appropriate amounts of these complete proteins is difficult at best. I would have to be at the trough all day and that doesn't interest me at all. And soy is not a good staple protein for males because of the estrogen.

My man is vegan too ( we researched estrogen does NOT affect males, due to a deferent body structure and mechanism ... there was an article somewhere). He can lift over 350 lb and has no man boobs.( they are all toned and stuff).
I have dated some stake lovers with saggy boobs and have given b12 shots to the deficient at the clinic, who ate lots of meat. This is a very-very unique lifestyle and can be approached wrong in so many ways.:(((
Quinoa has all the essential amino acids, so do other super foods. Beans and many more. I work 12 hour days and I come home still full of energy, now.... I could not pull that off while eating meat.... Just saying. Good for me, right?:D

I eat quinoa as a hot cereal and enjoy it. That said, the amount of complete proteins is low for the quantity that has to be consumed. Flax has even less but no bean or other veggie has all 8.

On the soy estrogen... thanks, but I'll pass.

Well, when you cook meat, heat takes away all the nutrients and trace minerals... Besides dead cow or pig has to travel for at leat 3-6 days before u eat it... I am not sure I believe it has all the nutrients by the time it makes it to your system.. Fresh kale and avocados do :) but if you eat all the food in moderation and u r not a fattie and get a regular exercise, you should be good to go.

Yup, that describes me pretty well. What is most important though is that we both get to excercise our freedoms of choice on diet. I wish you continued good health.

Hello Humans of Planet Earth,

I can say this.....

The carpet made by the children of India is very expensive. Very creative. Lots of colorful patterns. Great job.$1000 dollars.

The carpet made by the children of Iran is very expensive. Very ingenious. Lots of colorful patterns. Excellent work.$5000 dollars.

The carpet made by the adults of America is very expensive. The cotton, nylon, clothing. I mean Wow. Lots of hard work went into it. Great job.$2000 dollars.

The installation was more. The workers must be paid for their hard work.

The books made by the book makers of America. Incredibly expensive folks. I mean the paper, ink, glue, binding, writing, authors and stuff. I did read most of the books then I set the books on fire. I went ahead and buried the ashes in a hole several feet deep. Some manure, seeds, water and then a tree grew there.

The books made by the book makers of India. Very rare and expensive. I did read most of the books and then went ahead and burnt most of the books in a bonfire. I once again, buried the ashes in a hole several feet deep. Some dirt, seeds, water and waiting for trees to grow there.

The books made by the book maker of Europe. Very expensive people. I mean the paper, ink, glue, binding, writing and other stuff. I went ahead and read most of the books. I threw many of the books in the trash can. I burnt the rest of the books....

I bought many shirts, pants, teeshirts, underwear, shorts, ties, socks, suits and other related items. The clothing was made in Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Mongolia, Vietnam, China, America and other nations. I want to congratulate the people of the world for doing this hard work for me. I did pay them with Dollars, you know printed money. I think printed money worth something right now, as long as I am able to spend it. Otherwise, I will burn most of it in a big bonfire.

I did buy some gold, silver, emerald, ruby, diamonds in America, India and World. I am not sure what precious metals and stones are worth. I am sure that the hard work of the majdoor is worth something. I think we need to work on Halo {Joti, Life force, Odic force, Chi} instead.

I did eat and drink at Taco Bell, Little Ceases, Pizza Hut, Subway, Seven Eleven, Liquor Mart, Elephants Bar, Burger King, Domino Pizza, Stuff Pizza, McDonalds, India Sweets and Spices, Jay Bharat, Rajdhani, Chicken Madras, India Hotel and Restaurant, Dhaba, Oriental Restaurant, London Restaurant, London Pub, Juhu Hotel, El Toritor, Starbucks, Black Restaurant, White Restaurant and other restaurants. I felt the food was very delicious and well made. I think the restaurant was well maintained and kept clean. I felt that the service was prompt and friendly. I did have trouble a few times.

I can't afford to eat out anymore. I buy food at the food store. Then I cook potatoes, tomatoes, onions, peppers, corn, salt, oil with water, juice or cola. I do eat lots of other things though this is more common for me. There is always more....

The people came to me in my dreams and said the carpets, books, cloths, restaurants are very expensive. I agree. It's a lot of hard work. I don't buy so many carpets, books, cloths anymore. I don't go to the restaurant as often anymore. Sales volume is down. Work hour is reduced. Great job everybody.

Thank You,

Veganism is the way to go. Very healthy and great for the environment.
Going vegan is the best decision i've ever made. My energy levels are great and im very healthy.
A well balanced vegan diet is very healthy and more and more people are starting to follow it each day. I've spoken to many people this year that have went vegan.
Following a meat diet is very unhealthy and also bad for the environment. Meat consumption has killed millions of people and millions more will die in the coming years.
Following a vegan diet will reduce the demand for meat which will mean less animals bred for slaughter which means you're saving the lives of many animals and you're also helping save the enviroment.
The vegan diet is truly amazing :)
You know, the energy comes as much from living a clean life morally as physically. Here's a great story that reminds me why we do this:

A "clean life morally and physically describes most of the meat eating omnivores I know. Eating or not eating animal products is an amoral choice. There is no moral high ground for vegans.

That said, I know a few vegans but they don't seem all that healthy - pale, thin boned and weakly. Only animal proteins contain all of the 8 essential amino acids the human body does not synthesize. Those proteins are the building blocks of every cell in our bodies.

Being vegan/non vegan is equally as moral/immoral as liking cake and not pie...or pie and not cake....or both cake and pie equally...or neither cake nor pie. Food choice is not a "morality" issue.

That pretty much sums it up in multiple choice.

I wonder what psychological anomaly gives some vegans the illusion they are more moral than omnivores ?

This comment is simply ridiculous. Plants are living entities, but they lack consciousness; are passively unaware of their surroundings; and lack a central nervous system making them incapable of feeling pain. Equating plants and animals either reflects your ignorance, or (more likely) your flippant disregard for thinking and feeling creatures. You should really feel ashamed.

Vegan food gives you gas at best and colon cancer at worst ! It's because those who eat 100% vegetal statistically get a much higher dose of harmuful pesticide traces in their food than normal people over a lifetime.
