What a stand up guy in your desire to help these children, above all.

You've lost the tangible evidence, the symbol; however, it is obvious to me that you retain the crystal clear memories.

You are blessed, James. Take care.

You, Mr. Kilpatrick, are a class act. I hope these kids learn by your example.

last week you all wanted them their families and their genaeology wiped off the map. This week you all will be for helping them. What bunch of hypocrites.

Thank you for an illuminating and corageous letter, Mr. Kilpatrick.

The only person you could possibly be confronting here is I feel your pain, no one else posted under any of these names. I would also appreciate it if you did not lump me in your post as I never stated such things. I wanted to know what happened to that boy that would make him exude such anger and violence.

I just read about an 18 year old in Western Maryland who set fire to a shed in his neighborhood amongst other charges. The kind judge dismissed the charges and sentenced him to community service.
they decided to have him serve his community services working in the middle school--DUH!
He proceeded to set a fire at the school the first chance he got. Next, they will probably have him run the day care center!
The guy who kidnapped the young lady and kept her in a shed for all those years had just gotten out of prison.
I believe that the people committing these crimes have no fear of being caught because the prisons are full and they know the penalties will be very minimal.

I don't want them wiped off the map. Never said any such thing. I said I want them punished, and I still want them punished. I said I think they are little monsters, and I still think they are little monsters. Mr. Kilpatrick is still a class act.

Fact is, the very thing Mr. Kilpatrick wants to do for these kids is going to be what they really need because his plan in itself may have a lasting effect on (at least) one of them--for this may be the first time someone has shown they seriously care.

This is extraordinary and Jim has no guarantees; he knows that--that's a stand up guy. But just maybe the action on his behalf could change the entire direction of a life.

Wow....I don't think I could ever do that if young vandals destroyed my home. I'm a bit too harsh to even think about helping them.

James...you're a bigger man than I ever could be.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Aries

Don't get embroiled in a bad-tempered skirmish today, for it might turn into more than that if you aren't careful. Everyone seems to be ratty and argumentative, but once you let the first spat take place it's effectively declaring open season. Even though things seem out-of-joint, keep your lines of communication open.
