Check out the ADN web site for more pictures. Just so you know, your friend is not the only one who has been doing the Thanksgiving Dinner forever. These people do this every year and I can't really explain the reason why. This was my third year. The whole affair is such a charge of good energy that needs to be experienced to truely understand why these wonderful people, give of themselves to make this happen.

I would like to recognize, Harryette O'Brian. Her and her husband Sean worked non-stop for weeks, to gather the food needed for this event. Sixty turkeys were cooked ahead of time not to mention the extra turkeys that arrived that day. Harryette worked her tail off. She was not around when the camera was taking pictures because she was making her forth trip to Walmart that day.

If you have somone you would like to recognize, please add your story and THANK YOU to all of the volunteers for making this turkey day so special for everyone.

Most people who volunteer do not seek recognition,They get personal gratification first and foremost! Its nice of others to recognize them, but being a volunteer is such a self rewarding experience It makes one feel better Not to be recognized, kindof takes away from the INITIAL THOUGHT if ALL(even those who donated $5.00) where RECOGNIZED.

That's not Virgil Zachry posting that. I wouldn't put it past Gloria herself to post that bs. Supposidly Gloria Maestas is his wife so why would she be bringing him food if she lives in the same house?
