Sure, tacos, tamales and tostadas make an appearance on the menu at Mambo Mexican & Spanish Cuisine, but even so this restaurant is more than just another Mexican cafe.

Why do these articles sometimes omit the stats on the restaurant, i.e. Address, phone, prices, smoking, liquor availability?

I visited Mambo this past Saturday evening on Ms.Gottshall's recomendation.
It was one of the worst resturant visits I have ever made.
The table service was horrible. The kitchen was overwhemled. Numerous tables did not recieve service let alone food for over an hour. Numerous patrons walked out.
My dining partner and I were lucky enough to be able to place our order, but then sat at our table for an hour with absolutely no service. For a starter we had ordered the guacamole. It never came. A party that seated themselves at the table behind us after the original occupiers had walked out, walked back to the kitchen and returned with a plate of guacamole and chips. It was then that I joined the people who had the good sense to leave.
This is sad to read about.

that is not the experience i had. anytime i have gone, johansen has come directly to my table, been friendly and welcoming and very on top of making sure that we have everything we want and need, and that the food is made just as we like. I can't imagine mr. ruhf's experience being anything other than a fluke bad night, as I've had many excellent meals there without service problems.
