It's about time real Polish cooking started coming out of the homes to the restaurants.

The bastard communists and Nazi Germans did a good job in banging the nails in Poland's coffin lid for too long.

I guess what you're referring to here, is Phase 2 of the destruction. GMO seeds, artificial fertilizers and pesticides, ready made = factory made food, sugar and salt in everything, low level of real nutrients, high levels of fats and glucose-fructose syrup, super market shite ....ad infinitum.

Agreed.

Are those used in Poland? In the UK many people are opposed to GM crops, any GM foods must be clearly labeled so that people can choose whether to buy it or not, there isn't that much sold here yet, but people should always have a chioice of buying non GM foods if they wish.

Poland banned a couple of BASF and Monsanto products earlier in the year. But the pressure is to get it accepted, and what gets imported into Poland is anyone's guess. It's the same as the horse meat scandal, or the glucose-fructose syrup scam ... there is so much of that shit out there that unscrupulous import agencies mix it all together and sell cheaply to the supermarkets.

Best to buy raw, unprocessed ingredients and cook at home.

Yes, essentially that is true.

That is even true for the jobs market, Poles get shitty low-paying jobs in the West, but the Westerners in Poland get the best and highest paid jobs.

You are writing from a "Polak-American" perspective. I was writing about Poles currently living in Poland.
Does the term "Mexico of Europe" tell you anything?
