where are these folks going after they leave these companies? on to ruin another job market as all immigration does.

visa lotteries was one of the dumbest ideas in history, put names into a hat and bingo you win a right to go to the USA.

we bring in well over 1 million people a year knowing there is not enough jobs, even did this during the recession. time it all ends, we do not need anymore imported people and at the rate of over 1 million a year we will soon run out of room and natural resources. it is a self inflicted wound.

"The problem is that they simply arenít going to have the workers required to do the tedious chore of picking the crab meat out of the shells at their processing plants."

Who wants to work for a dollar an hour but illegal aliens?

Pay workers well you will get them.

Lump Crabmeat already costs $20.00 dollars a pound. Before the summer ends you'll be forking over $30.00 for a crab cake sandwich, and $60.00 for stuffed flounder.

That's going to hurt restaurant owners and wait staff from Florida to Massachusetts.

Trump's tariffs and insidious shenanigans are killing the economy. Prices are rising as wages remain stagnant. Bad combination

You forget the enormous social costs that those employers who use illegal alien labor pass on to the taxpayer so that cheap crabmeat isn't so cheap after all, is it? At any rate if American labor can't be found at a fair wage then visas for legal workers is acceptable but we need to make sure that they leave when the crabbing season is over.

Well, if Trump cannot find American workers for his Mar-A-Lago resort, then you can be assured that Americans are not all that keen on spending hours on a rolling crab boat in all kinds of weather.

Those types of jobs are usually only seasonal and part time. Most Americans want full time jobs. There is a difference between bringing people in on visas and making them leave after their visas expire and hiring illegal aliens.

You are more stupid than an oxidized nut! The reason they use illegal is the cheap cost and high productivity! You on the other hand, insurance, high salary, benefits, transportation, training, first aid, and even Human resources! YOU ARE A FREAKING NIGHTMARE! GET OUT OF MY COUNTRY!!!

How's the visa lottery work? I don't see in your post that you have any idea. Have you ever owned a business and hired kids 16-24?

Trump's resorts uses visa lottery workers.

How do you believe they find foreign visa applicants if not by using a lottery?

You know anyone from say Russia or the Ukraine that's come to work summer jobs in the leisure and restaurant industries. They win a lottery and are chosen.

That's an argument for idiots. What conscience citizen doesn't know illegal immigrants can't use the US social welfare system?

Only someone with absolutely no knowledge of the laws of the United States would respond with that idiocy. I doubt American citizens w/o access to vital statistical records could receive social aid in America

This is another threat to a weaking economy.

You couldn't be more wrong. Illegal aliens cost us over $100 billion a year. They use fraud to get a job what makes you think they don't use fraud to obtain welfare? Just one question aside from their negative impact on our society in every way why don't you respect the laws of this country, especially our immigration laws? Funny that someone like you claims that we have no knowledge of our laws when you don't even respect them yourself.

Laughable that this idiot illegal alien has the nerve to tell American citizens to get out of their own country and that he has the nerve to call our country "his" country. What a deranged fool he is not mention one of the nastiness individuals I've ever encountered. Just don't respond to him he is just begging for attention. Pathetic!

Actually, I was being a bit sarcastic. Trump orchestrates the job postings so that they are very difficult to find. You cannot just walk up to his clubs and ask for Human Resources to fill out an application. You cannot get past the guarded gate.

Trump makes sure that his ads for the jobs are difficult to find in an obscure publication.

Then he makes sure that there is no address to snail mail the application. And when he doesnít get any applicants, he then petitions the government for the Visas.

Why doesnít your president want Americans working at his clubs? Yet he expects every other business to hire Americans.

Something isnít quite right. But then again, one shouldnít be surprised. Trumpís just being Trump.

We're discussing visa applicants, they're not illegal and are a vital resource for small thankless business owners struggling to stay in business.

Any owner of a seafood restaurant or business; as it's abundanly clear won't entertain your idiocy that will eventually lead to him eating out of a trash can unless you and your bambinos are coming to do a coupe shifts of crab picking and dishwashing at his facilities.

Now get your dumba$$ in that kitchen or on that line and start to picking crabmeat and dishwashing.

So you say. There are always two sides to every story I'm sure you're repeating what the libs tell you. This forum is to discuss illegal immigration not Trump bashing.

No matter what there is no justification for hiring illegal aliens it's against the law and costs the taxpayer billions a year.
