Flavorful menu reflects Springtown Inn's comfy character

If you blink when you drive through Springtown in Bucks County, you might never know you'd been there.

The caesar salad dressing was Italian out of a bottle, and at $12.00, mostly way too much romaine and only 4 shrimp. Nothing great.

Some friends stopped there to eat about a month ago. They said it was a little pricey and the food was nothing to brag about.

Agreed nothing to brag about, we were there on 8/16/08 the service was hardly what I expected. There was no taste to the garlic mashed potatos or corn. You needed to season everything yourself. Was definitely overpriced for the quality of food we received and service. Grab your server each time if you need a refill. Will not be returning at anytime.

We were there last night only because we had a gift certificate. The service was SLOW and the place was EMPTY at 6:30 PM. The food was okay, but I've had much better meals at diners for 1/3 the price. The salad was swimming in dressing and the entrees were covered with dry parsley flakes. There were three choices for dessert- all with fruit. No chocolate in the place. Check dropped off, no refills offered on the coffee. I would not eat there if I had to pay for it.

Totally agree with previous posts. A little too pricey for such a bland meal. Straight forward service but not friendly and inviting. Crossed off the list, won't return.
