Woman killed on 605 Freeway identified

A lobster waits to be eaten at Gladstone's. READERS ARE HOOKED ON GLADSTONE'S: Last week we asked readers what we thought was a perfectly reasonable question: What's the best seafood restaurant in and around Long Beach? Apparently, it was a stupid question. Full Story

Ha ha, the caption is about a fatal accident but the story is about a seafood restaurant. Who's running the store over there?

Maybe the shoemaker's elves got bored with nothing to do and go to the PT and mess with the headlines.
I dont care for seafood so my favorite is Jimmies Grill at the Marketplace. They have the best fish and chips around. And just so you know, fish is not seafood, it is fish. Things that crawl across the bottom of the sea with legs and stuff is seafood. Also they are boiled alive which is not a good way to die. Of course fish are drowned in the air, but that is different.

King's Fish House is much fresher and better. Not a view like Gladstone's. I prefer King's.

Agreed. In a city with several very good seafood restaurant options, Gladstone's is tops for its combination of food quality and presentation, location experience, and great ownership.

It’s quite an honor to be recognized as Best Seafood Restaurant in Long Beach especially considering the caliber of other seafood restaurants in the downtown area and throughout the City. We value our customers and strive to exceed their expectations when dining at Gladstone’s. To be recognized in such a way is the result of a real team effort and we’re grateful to our staff, families, friends and, most importantly, the community.

We’re fond of saying,“We’re long on Long Beach,” and we look forward to a Fun-tastic 2010!

All the best,

John Sangmeister
