A raw bar?!? Makes sense, they couldn't cook a steak right at Sam Sneads.

Wow! From placing the order to trying to get change for the order - what a disaster! The girl who answered asked me what Ahi Tuna was (right on the Raw Bar Menue), the hostess couldn't figure a 10% coupon off my bill, the "chef" burned my raw tuna????????? and added 3 layers of pepper. The checkout girl couldn't figure out the register. The saddest part was when I made a very generously gentle criticism he all but told me he accepted that there would be problems at a new restaurant and so should I!!! I wouldn't recommend that my worst enemy even have a beer there!!

Let me save you some time and money... Go across the street and get some mcdonalds. When I walked in this place I immediately thought I was in the cafeteria of an old folks home.nobody in there was under 75. The place even smelled funky. Another younger couple walked in, looked around, then left (which is what my wife and I should have done). The menu is very limited and they have no signature dishes. Nothing on the menu makes the place stand out. I ended up eating the beef sandwich, which had no taste. I may as well have eaten a shoe. From the outside, the place looks kind of neat. Inside, it's pretty tacky and doesn't seem to fit the picture of a place called Boaters Grill. I bet you anything this place will be closed in less than 6 months!

Oh, I forgot to mention something about the clothing that the waitresses wear. They wear white wife beaters and blue skorts (skirt with shorts), which is very tacky. They look like dorm chicks that just rolled out of bed. Whoever came up with this place must have done a lot of guessing, because they obviously can't decorate or dress people.

First impressions are crucial. It is a shame that the Boathouse didn't get the memo. As I walked through the doors I felt as if I walked into a wannabe Hooters. The service staff was decked out in skimpy shirts and short shorts, how cliche (For a minute I thought I had accidentally walked into Mac Daddy's down the street). The wait time was well over an hour before we got our meals. The kitchen staff absolutely sunk our server and put her neck deep in the thickest of weeds. The food was mediocre at best and not a one of us would return to this "trough" for seconds. If I wanted to remind myself how “frozen fish” tasted, I would have just pulled in to Long John's drive thru. Unfortunately this will be another resturaunt casualty caused by poor management. It will be such a shame to watch the doors close even though the paint hasn’t dried. I was really hoping for a place to call my favorite, instead I had found my least.

What were they thinkg, obviously they weren't. The so call owner Tony G.is in deeper trouble then he ever thought. Eddie DeLeo his long time friend from Pilly. is useing Tony's name because he owes thousands of $$$$$$$$ to every person who has done business with him.. Tony is the front man. Tony a real nice guy is just sucked into the visous web. Tony couldn't boil an egg none the less own a restaurant. Eddie the owner of Sam Sneads & Uno Grill rite next door didn't even last 6 months. Sam Sneads was ruined by Eddie's live-in girl friend, Denise who is now the G.M. of the Boat-house...She was a bus girl at Eddie Uno,s in Naples, because he sleeps with her he made her a manager. Eddie you should bring your "WIFE" & children down from Philly & let them run your place. Oh i forgot no-one is suppose to know he has a wife & children. The trailer park G.M. doesn't care he has a wife & kids..He also has another girl friend which he has an ADOPPTED baby girl with. What kind of man are you. You are a low life...M-F.You are getting everything you deserve and more. All of your ex.employees can't wait until you become "Bubba's" bitch.....Nothing less then Jail is what you desereve, first a real good Beating..Some of the food that you all are complaining about is left over from Uno's & Sam Sneads, thats why it sucks. When you go in to the boat house ask Denise or Eddie were is everyone's pay that he owes from Uno & Sneads. Also all the x employees of both restaurants invited the I.R.S.,The Dept't of Hotel & Restaurant & A.T.F.for dinner. We are so excited,it will be so crowed that night, at least 30 of us & whoever they bring, should be an experience...See you soon....P.S Please do not give these people 1 cents of your money...

Oh all of that is the funniest thing I have ever heard. I just recently got fired from there, after working my tail off for 3 weeks, and they basically fired me for being pregnant....or maybe it was the fact that my SERVICE was excellent, but they sucked as a restaurant and each of my customers wanted to personally tell Eddie and Denise this for themselves. Yeah, I think that's it. I feel bad for Tony as well, he is such a nice guy. Eddie is an alcoholic it seems like? He has a bottle of scotch in his office, and is always drinking a glass of wine instead of taking care of the multiple problems surrounding him. He told my customers he didn't care if they ever came back and they better pay for their meal they didn't eat and gave back, or he will be calling the cops. Nobody explained Denise better than the person from Naples. The scene there is what we called HIGH SCHOOL at one point in our lives. I'm only 24 years old, but seeing and hearing what I seen and heard at this place was like stepping into a soap opera....caused by Denise, and her friend Missy who works there as well. All they is constantly talk bad about the people that work there. Talking about looks, weight...and things that shouldn't even MATTER. Yes, the uniform is tacky as hell, and they shouldn't be putting overweight girls in such things...but hey, like everyone said...can they really run a business? I just had to file a suit against them because no one has been paid in a month...and it's really sad when the department of labor already knows who Eddie is and has his number on file. HAHAHAH. I don't recommend this place to anyone and I still feel bad for the girls that are actually working there. Along with the cooks...who, sadly, don't know what the hell they're doing. Bye, bye Boathouse Crappy Grill. You will sink in just a matter of time. Karma is a great thing :)

I would love to know who eddie drug into this business. I built Sam Sneads and other Deleo defunct restaurants. He stuck me for hundreds of thousands. How the hell is he not under endictment!?!?!?!?! He allegedly did not pay employees, payroll taxes, food suppliers etc. Does bankruptcy protect you from this? Eddie is not a civil issue. This should be treated as a criminal investigation. He has seriously hurt many people. He should be held accountable. I have plenty of information that he used to trick me out of my money. I just don't have the time or money to pursue it. It's people like him that really hurt SW Florida. I hope the Fed's or the State Attorney's office take a good hard look at what this guy is doing and how he operates.

I don't know anything, nor want to about this behind-the-scene drama. I'll be honest, the first visit was positive. Very cold, cheap beer, very flavorful food, our service was excellent. The only thing I hope for is that the pasta dish portions improve (it was quite small for the price), because mine was damn good and I wanted more! We went back today with a friend for apps and had great bar service and tasty appetizers with great prices! I am comming back with more friends next time.

Went once for lunch with some coworkers. We were all dissapointed. The service was slow and uncertain. The atmosphere was not very comfortable along with a strange odor and very cold. The food was average at best. It took way to long as a business professional on a lunch break I will think twice before going back.

The bartender is the nicest/ normal person in the place. She is the only girl witout a tatoo. The Stella's were cold and cheap. I will return to the bar.

Came in off the street. No history. Bartender attentive. Friendly. Atmosphere to our liking, laid back and friendly. Only had oysters. They were fine, not the best, far from the worst. Thumbs up from us. Would definitely come again.

The food was greasy and took a very long time to get out. THe servers were pleasant but took way too long to take my order. I have to admit, the hostesses are cute at least! I liked seeing them ;]

A little bizzare but the food was good. The decor was really bad, looked like it was an in house job. Our fish fingers, chicken fingers and slaw were all good and decently priced. Our waitress was completly aweful, and I mean AWEFUL!!! no refills on our drinks, no ketsup for our fries, lots of sitting and waiting for the check to both be brought and processed... they had a karaoke thing trying to happen that was pretty painful to listen to but at least it was some free entertainment! so no real complaints there. The one thing that really did bother us besides the service was that they had the whole resturant was opened up to enjoy the fall air however, there were people smoking right on the other side of the wall from us who were running the karaoke and it was not something i cared to inhale while we ate. yes, my husband and I also smoke, but not while we are eating! not professional or classy in my opinion. I would consider going there again in a couple of months when they work all of the bugs out.

We love every thing about this place. They've come along way. Service, food, and everything was great. We go there a few times a week and we bring our friends. They all enjoy it and they bring there friends. And from what we hear, most of those comments were written by ex employees so don't go by what they say, go try it for yourself. You won't be disappointed

I agree with the last comment. I'm not gonna lie the first time I went there, they needed to work out some kinks but we've been back since then a few times and enjoyed every bit of it. They have great drink prices and the menu is well priced as well. The waitresses were super friendly and efficient. We first sat at the bar and the bartender was very on top of it and we had a couple cocktails and appetizers like we always do. I think they will do fine.
