This absolutely warmed my heart. The Smith family is an amazing group of people--and hearing this story makes me feel so proud to know them and to live in an area where we still cherish family bonds enough to publicize their importance.

Thank you for brightening my day, and reminding me of what is REALLY important in life.

Tony and Sharon Smith, Joan, and the whole Smith clan from Edge Grove are wonderful people! I remember going to ice cream night on Thursdays when I was younger and you couldn't find a nicer family. They always made you feel like you were part of their family. I'm glad this story made it in the paper, after 30 years they deserve recoginition. May ice cream night on Thursdays go on and on.:)

This should me mailed and shoved in the face of everyone who whines about the paper never covering "good news." These kind of stories pop up from time to time and remind me what a cool little community we live in. Thank goodness for people like the Smiths who enjoy the simple things in life.

Daily Horoscope for December 7

Capricorn

The detail-oriented Moon in Virgo is extremely supportive and helpful, so it feels good to know that you can count on some support. You may know just where the help is coming from, but with communicative Mercury all over transformative Pluto in your sign, maybe you're being looked after by your very own guardian angel. Don't let this encourage you to take foolish risks or overstep the mark.
