To eat at Big Anthony & Guido's and experience perfect fresh sea bass in a lemon, butter and white wine sauce is reason enough to rejoice over this neighborhood hideaway. via South Florida Sun-Sentinel

got to try Big Anthony and Guido's, Coral Springs. It sounds like my kind of restaurant for me and my husband.

It has been around for years and is only just now getting attention. The Pizza is awsome and has been for a very long time, which is why they are still in business..consistently good food at a fair price.
Check it out, it is pretty darn good.

In Coral Springs there's stiff competition for the Italian/New York crowd.Guido came from Pizza Time, which still offers the best specialty pizzas in Florida, and I don't believe he has the recipes from PT because the pizzas here are substandard. If you want NY style pies, there's only one place in SoFla, and that's Pasquales right down the street in CS. Now, BA&G does have a solid 'crusty cheese' pizza, which has been their staple since day one. All their other Italian dishes are run-of-the-mill, nothing outrageous here. Go for the crusty cheese-a fine Sicilian hybrid pie, but if you want more substantial pizzas, PT and Pasquales right down the road will serve you a better product. Guido is a fine cook, trained by Angelo & Humberto from PT, but I think Anthony (who's no longer there) required his recipes to stay untouched. Too bad cuz the potential for this restaurant is great, but not executed. HD

I ate at Big Anthony and Guido's (Coral Springs) last night, and I will make it my lifetime goal to tell everyone how bad it was. We ordered a pizza and dinner. We got the pizza quickly, but after a 1/2 hour we hadn't received anything else and didn't see our waiter. When we complained, we got salad - but nothing else (like bread for example). 15 minutes laters I went up front and told our waiter (surprise - there he was) to give us a check for the pizza and salad. He said we weren't hungry anymore and that is why we really wanted to leave. We got a check for over 30 dollars - for pizza and salad.

so for bad service you are going to "make it your lifetime goal" why not try again - if the food was bad its one thing, but i am sure if this waiter was that bad he will not be there when you return, just a thought. i will still go try it for myself, it just sounds unique and far too good to pass up for one bad waiter.

Just avoid Wings on sample !! Exploits kids and can't even give them proper breaks !!

Uses cheap labor, provides no benefits and laugh's all the way to the bank.

Hires Haitian workers and then has his buddies at CSPD ticket them for false driving violations. Can't fight those viloations because they speak French.

Bryant Walsh a true low life because he's probably drank one too many Miller's !!

walked in Big A & G's around lunch time on a Saturday 3 weeks ago. Man at counter ignores my wife and I when I ask him if they have any lunch specials. After posing question, he answers phone and walks to the back of the kitchen. We were the only people in the entire place. We walk out.

Do not eat here.. the food is tasteless and old, served cold asked to have the pizza hot.. the served just looked at us he was in a daze? Ordered a ceasar salad, had scriveled up lettuce and packaged chicken slices. Will not go back.

I concur with everyone hear about poor service. My wife and two kids sat at a table with soda, waited 15 minutes for waiter, who never came over until he saw us get up to leave.

BA&G is the best! What excellent food for such a reasonable price. They have the best chicken parmesan and chicken francese in town and the pizza is great. Garlic rolls and salad are great too. We have been eating there for years. I will admit that the service isn't always great, but Guido is personally there most of the time, and if you let him know how you feel he will make it right. It must be hard for him to find good help, but the food is amazing!

I dont know what the heck everyone is talking about. I honestly believe that many people here are just haters from other restaurants. I honestly consider myself a pizza expert and can describe every pie in town. Pasquales pizza is so thin that you can eat 6 slices before you are full. And by the way its about 4 dollars a pie more than guidos and you get half the food. Guido's has the best pie in town period!!!! yeah maybe the service isnt the best, and yeah maybe it isnt a fancy marble decored restaurant( which u pay for) but pie for pie, I challenge anyone to find a better pie either here or in N.Y. Everytime i visit family in NY i ask them for the best pie in whatever town I'm in, and they can never touch Guido's. And by the way to the gentleman who loves Pizza Time...It is the same exact recipe with slightly sweeter sauce and the pie cooked slightly longer. They are opening a new location off coral springs and wiles where migliori's was.......who also had the pizza time recipe.

I ate at Guido's the other day... the owner is the most obnoxious person i ever met.. just got married, and very arrogant. Good luck in Migliori's spot they didn't do well and their pizza was the BEST>> what makes u think you are gonna do better? You have a bad rep around C.S.. try and be more polite to your PAYING customers..

My family and I ate their Friday nite.. I don't know how they are still in business?? They are always empty. The food is not edible, Rigo is the chef, from Miglioris and PT, he used to be good I can't understand it. Put the salt shaker down! And the pizza guy, stop eating all the food behind the counter. It looks gross. The garlic rolls were cold and hard, and the chicken parm was just bad. We don't need anymore pizzeria's in C.S... I wouldn't go there again... and I know all my friends won't either...all the wait staff does is stand around..

You must be an employee forced by the boss to write this. I have tried every pizza place in Coral Springs and this place ranked in the middle for taste and quality. Service there was horrible, I ordered my pizza to go and the service was a joke. Seems to me if you want people to return to your business you would treat them nice and show you cared. The cashier girl acted like it was a bother to take my order. Plus this pleace looks like a dump on the inside. Be interesting to see the violations from the health department.
