It's always a good time for pie.

The Eckharts belong to everyone. They should be featured in one of those books, "Interesting Attractions in Ohio." Pie Breakfast is not really about pie, it's about phenomenal generosity and the sanctity of feeding others. The pie, of course, is unrivaled; but then, so is Claudine.

I had to look up the bumbleberry. I get two mincemeat pies a year, one for my birthday and one for Thanksgiving. No bumbleberries and the filling is from a jar but the crusts are homemade and the pie smells/tastes incredible. Hot coffee and cold pie starts the day off right!
