"how much did they pay for this story?"
Hahaha funny

Also, NYC my eggs! The pizza is good, but nothing to write home about. Also it takes way too long to get the one or two slices you order. They NEED to speed up the process, the pizza is ready, SO serve it right after I pay for it.

Until then, you fine people will be deprived of my incredibly insightful opinion. Please try to keep your minds occupied in the meantime. Maybe organize a circle jerk or something.

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, Rays Pizza in the Village was the place to go, my neighborhood pizzeria was Mikes on Roebling and Mario’s & Sons on Broadway and Marcy Ave, I guess you have to be there; I will give them a shot, reviews will follow :)

You must mean the Famous Ray's Pizza in Greenwich Village. There are like a bazillion "Ray's Pizza" places in NYC. It reminds me of a conversation in a Seinfeld show:
Kramer: I miss home, and I don't even know how to get there.
Jerry: What's around you?
Kramer: I'm lookin' at Ray's Pizza. You know where that is?
Jerry: Is it Famous Ray's?
Kramer: No. It's Original Ray's.
Jerry: Famous Original Ray's?
Kramer: It's just Original, Jerry!

I agree, the Rays on the East Village on Sixth Ave. Still the ones on the old block is better, real italian cooking, The Kosher Pizza was just as good, Katz was better than most, but what the heck the Italian home made is still the best. Dominos, Pizza Hut, Pizza Patron, Lil Ceasers is Garbage by that standard!!!!:D

I ate at the Rays in the village but I sharted my drawers before I could finish because the crust was too thick and a bit doughy.

Jeez looks like the New York Hebrews have taken over this thread.

This is about pizza in ElPaso....keep it topical. If you loved Ray's whatever in NYC so much, just go head and move back please. I'm sure Rebbe Bach will be happy to be rid of you schmucks. Or go visit Larry Gold at Hello Pizza...he knows good pizza too and he has the right nose for it, if you get my meaning.
