I use to buy the chunks but it was a bit salty. Were yours salty? I wish it had more crunch to it when you chew.

They no longer sell chunks but when u bake it as per their instructions after soaking overnight there is no salt taste .
True there is no crunch it kind of soft one which melts in mouth but tastes very earthy

Ha ha may be I'm too scared to eat more :) what I do other times when I get cravings is to eat overnight soaked almonds or corn tortilla chips. Ofcoz they don't taste like yummy clay but some how works for me :)

wow girl that must have been a lot of clay to last u this long
It was a lot, but not enough...I should have made it last longer.

I was fortunate when I was in the UK to acquire seven different types: Mavu Seller original, white, and red soil cakes; Soul Sista's moulded and unmoulded; and also Leslie's red clay and Wanda's clay.(I also got some clay powders, but they weren't that good.)

My mouth is watering just typing this!

I haven't been taking my iron pills. When I started up taking them, I was on my period and I was feeling sick. But then my dad told me when we're on our cycle we're getting rid of iron. So it's not good to try to put iron in when it's trying to get rid of it. So I'm starting back on it this weekend. But I'm going to start taking it every other day until my body get use to it.

My cravings are still here and it comes when I'm stressing so bad. It's the point where I just want to tell my friends and family and even my boyfriend that I'm craving white dirt and they should find me some so I can eat it. But I'm doing good . Haven't had any clay since last year December. Once I start on these iron pills I really won't be craving for any clay.

WOW....You've doubled the price !! It used to be 6 pounds a bag of 300 gms but the almost 4 pound bag that's on sale now consists less than half...only 100 gms !!
I know your stock is mostly blink n miss but I see no justification for an increase in price of this manner.

I thought the same so I sent her a msg and she said it's because there was some difficulty with sourcing this batch so she's trying to breakeven without making a loss. Something about trying to get a more frequent supply. Obviously not permanent. In my opinion its a seller's prerogative and I'm pretty sure we are all grown to buy what we want whatever the cost. I think that if people think it too much they should go source it themselves and not complain. It's an addiction remember. It has no limit. I'm sure ppl will pay the price to feed it...like myself. Doesn't bother me. That's just business.

I started crunching ice 10 yrs ago during my pregnancy and then craved chalk but the chalk didnt taste right when I tried it. After giving birth, it all went away. This past summer I started chewing ice again and once more tried chalk. This time the chalk was better. I tried target brand and crayola and the dollar store. Target was kind of soft and others had a few that were bitter or tasted funny. I just recently got a few boxes of crayola that I really love. A hard crunch that I crush with my front teeth into a grit. I love the feeling of grit on my tongue, which is what I think I loved about crunching ice. But the grit has to break down or my throat gets sore from swallowing too much. Can't believe I'm writing this!

I started googling pica and learning about all the white dirt and watching videos. I swear its like pica porn. I can watch people crunch on white dirt and cornstarch all day. Lol. I've been tempted to try cornstarch chunks but don't want to gain weight. I finally broke down and bought Georgia white dirt. Not at all what I expected. It thick and creamy and sticks to my teeth a little. Baking it gave a good crunch but no grit. :(

Does anyone know if red dirt has the crunch and grit without the sticky creamy feeling?
