<quoted text> i agree! Pebbles in the rice and other
food are the main reason for kidney stones. Take care dear! Drinking
boiled pudina water or dhaniya water can cure it easily or help you to
maintain a balance with pica. BTW i had an experiment with multani by
adding water into to it and drying it out. It was delicious. Powder form
of multani is dangourous to health..
can u tell me how i balace with pica? i dont know about this.

I love the look of this red and white clay in its natural setting:

Speaking of red clay, I'm really looking forward to reading the review's of Leslie's red once people get their orders.

You are talking to someone who consumes 5lbs a month......if unseat once a month it should be very easy to give up this habit....stop it before it gets too bad.

Hi Ati, meri family ko bhi pata nahi. Main unse chupaake khaati hoon. Terrace par sukhaakar, chupke se apne room mein le aati hoon. Maine multani mitti khana bohot recent start kiya, I used to eat slate pencil from 1993 but yeh mitti khaana Nov 2012 mein try kiya aur pasand aa gaya taste. I just tried it experimentally and got hooked. But maine khaana bohot hi kam kar diya hain as mere pasand wala brand nahi mil raha hain jis mein koi kankar nahi hote they. It used to be smooth and creamy with no grit. I used to buy about 5-6 100 gm packets in a month. So say half a kilo powder in a month

I grew up eating red dirt so I'm quite use to the taste. I have ordered the white dirt several times and still have not gotten use to the taste. I'm waiting on my Ghana clay from Soul Sista & then I will order the red dirt from Leslie.

Clay Junkie - Yes it is used as a face mask predominantly which is why it is sold in markets as a novelty item. You'll find it in powdered form but different varieties have different tastes similar to clay. We are just too picky about which brand we eat as various brands are dug up from different places and can have no grit in them or more grit. The lesser the impurities the better it tastes. I havent been eating any mitti as my supplier isnt stocking my preferred brand anymore :(

Swati...Is that 5lbs in a month for 25 years ??? that's a LOT ( Almost 2.3 kilos ). Haven't you faced any side effects or health issues as a result of this habit ?

Clay lovers...Could you also share any health concerns each of you have faced as a result of our pica. Severe Anaemia, constipation and abdominal pains are common. Anybody faced anything severe ? It scares me to read about this affecting fertility but there seems to be no scientific research connecting the dots. If it were so easy to kick this habit, I guess all of us would have done it years ago but the fact that it is a serious condition which torments us through these cravings makes it so tough. Not to forget the yummmy taste of our clay/slatepencils/chalk/starch /mitti

@ Alabama Red I just finish ordering my Red Clay with Leslie and Ghana Clay from Ebay. Even though I'm not a fan of red clay I will give it a try.
