Margaret Markham was, without a doubt, the Ralph Nader of Las Cruces, New Mexico. She counseled her fellow citizens and encouraged their activism. She remained feisty and outspoken until the end as her letters this year to the local paper demonstrate.
Even at 96,she demonstrates, the good do die too young.
