What we need to do is make it easier to get on welfare and WIC. Why demand any paperwork at all? The more parasites we can get on our holding up lines with their WIC forms and maxed out welfare slide cards,, the better we will all feel about ourselves. Socialism is great, until you run out of other people's money.

Hmmmmm maybe it's because if your going to school and working you cant get benefits, or your income has to be only 1,000 a month to get benefits, or you don't have a bazillion kids you cant get benefits, so a single family who is trying to go to school work as much as possible who are struggle to pay bills gets left out, so that leaves the homeless, people with no jobs and a bazillion kids, not to mention these people in the ukiah office are rude, mean and very judgmental.

How we treat the least among us is a measure of the morality of our society.

"The California Food Policy Advocates, a state non-profit that measures food stamp programs' performance, announced last week that Mendocino County is missing out on an estimated $12.9 million annually in federal food stamp money because not enough eligible people are signed up."
Despite their gnawing hunger not enough eligible people signed up????? Gibberish, these programs are PROMOTED to put more money in bureaucrat hands and enable the cabal of organizations that feed off the poverty lie. I wonder what percentage of the 'poor' have cars, color TV, and cell phones? Actually, the last question is rhetorical. Google it up, I think you'll be surprised.

You are not suggesting that these poor people work a 40 hour week are you??....LOL

Why should they??

Many people are willing to work 80 to 100 hours per week and the liberals will take their money and give it to the ones that don’t want to work 20 hours per week……..

What I am surprised about and even a little amazed is that you seem blissfully unaware that 44 million Americans are now living in poverty according to The US Cencus Bureau and that includes 15 million children. and you do not appear to care one wit. the money spent to feed these unfortunate people is not yours. It has nothing to do with your greedy intentions.

Keep your hands off of my social security and unemployment benefits. No bankster or wall street criminal deserves our civil rights benefits. Give no more entitlement bail outs to corporations. Corporations must be controlled.

Rather, you owe a great debt to those patriotic Americans who are moral enough to care about their neighbors. In case you haven't thought of it, food is a necessity.

Deregulation of corporations has proven to be a very destuctive thing to do. It creates of lot of poverty.

44 million Americans living in poverty, you say. Of these poverty stricken Americans many have colored TV's, air conditioning, free school lunches, and all appear over weight. And corporations do not need to be controlled it's the government that needs to be controlled, you socialist Berkeley commie old man, KMA.

Those 44 million patriotic Americans would be very happy to demonstrate for you the pain and difficlties in their lives in person.

You are totally inaccurate.

I hope they all make a social call to your house tomorrow. By the way, many of them are "former middle class church going people". Are you that insensitive to the children also?

Did you know that illegals cost every California home about $200.00 per month? I'll bet $200.00 per month more would help your social security check.

Illegal Aliens: Economic Consequences

In Santa Ana, 27 miles down Interstate 5, the school district has decided that every one of its 55,000 students will receive free breakfast and lunch regardless of whether they qualify for the program. At $2 per meal, that’s $39.6 million annually to feed the school system’s mostly Hispanic children before officials buy their first pencil. One can well imagine without looking too deeply that many of these students also are either illegal aliens or the U.S.-born children of illegal aliens.

Again, you are quoting out of context and distorting the facts just to satisfy your anger toward immigrants. To deny lunches to schoolchildren because of your negative suspicians is inhumane.

Newt Gingrich (before he became a classic loser) and had some power actually proposed that we do away with school lunches everywhere in America.

I have a T Shirt which reads, "Newt should eat his own lunch".

PS The provision of school lunches has been proven scientifically without doubt to be a significant factor in the higher achievement of school children.

Anger??........LOL………I live in Mexico..
Do you think if Mexicans bothered me I would live here??

A realist…………

So now if you are a child criminal we should feed you before we arrest you????

I think school lunches are great thing for citizens but not criminals…………..

If the welfare system was overflowing with money I would not have a problem with it…

But the USA is broke and we are now choosing between citizens and criminals on who we spend the money on………
