Now if turned out that some of the immigrants using taxpayer money to buy groceries and ship them off to "the islands" were here illegally, we'd really have the liberal definition of utopia .

I see similar stuff happening here. Some of the local discount supermarkets frequently sellout of things like generic cereal. Somebody comes in a buys corn flakes buy the case buying almost 4 dozen at a time. Same for generic soda. The stores on hand counts gets messed up and it's over week before they can replenish it. They said the customers that buy it admit they are sending it back to where ever. That store is in one of the poorest areas of the county where you frequently see half the people in line pay by a food stamp card.

I want to know how/where new immigrants or citizens are getting the money for the stuff they buy for themselves. I have neighbors/first generation immigrants from one of the countries mentioned who own property in NY and are getting discounted power bills in a different state because they cried poor. They also complain their food stamps ran out but are taking a full fledge air and hotel vacation in the Virgin Islands.

This MUST come to a stop. It might not balance the budget but food stamps are for the individuals here in the US that actually need them. I'd bet this is the tip of the iceberg as far as shaky activity that goes on from the these first generation immigrants.

Since they are shipping by the barrel/in quantity it means there is probably a black market for this food. Is it all really being given to family members or is it being sold to locals.

Also if the stores are knowingly selling the same customer a barrel and observes them using a EBT card to buy the barrel or stuff it they are aiding and abetting fraud.

Where is the 522 million in aid going in these countries.

Well of course, did you actually think they came here for the 'jobs'?

Don't be so gullible America.

Follow up. A lot of this food stamp purchased food does wind up on the black market in the Dominican Republic in one case.
