Our daugher was born in Eastern PA on September 22, 1992 at 26 weeks. Her birth weight was 526 grams or 1.16 lbs. After nearly 4 months in the hospital under the best doctors we will ever know she was able to go home. Today she is a 17 year old beautiful young women and a junior in high school trying to figure out what college to attend. The only issue from the entire ordeal is that she is nearly blind in one eye and wears glasses / contacts. The entire time was a rollercoaster with many ups and downs, surgeries and infections but after all was said and done you would never know how her life begun if you met her today. I'm sure that after 17 years technology has improved and I hope that you have the same result with your child that we had with ours.
